The Action Report is proud to present TAR 36: Mike Dechaine vs Jayson Shaw . TAR 36 will take place at the TAR Studio in Las Vegas NV on September 27-29, 2013. The format is 10 Ball race to 27, two out of three sets. This match is sponsored by CueSports International. We hope everyone will be able to join us for the live pay per view coverage of these two great players going at it head to head in the classic TAR format.

I made this match because these two have been barking back and forth for a long time. So I thought what better way to settle it than on the TAR table. I'm looking forward to this one.
 
I have been asked the question several times so: The answer is yes both guys will be wearing a mic.

Should be a good match, and I kind of expect it to go 3 days.
 
Great matchup between two young players who are showing a strong pedigree in 2013.

Jayson's game remains on the rise and he finished ninth in the US Open 10-ball and fourth in the US Open 8-ball. Mike came third in the Derby City Nine ball and seventh in the US Open ten ball.

Add to this that these guys have been known to woof at each other and these guys are going to provide some drama as well as some great pool.

I'm looking forward to purchasing TAR 36. Thanks to JCIN for putting this together.
 
This is a pick 'em IMO. Mike breaks significantly better. Plays better CB control and safes. Jayson has a top offensive gear that is insane. Might come down to who has the more "level head".

Gonna be a good one for sure! We're gonna eat this one up Mr Steak TAR TAR. :thumbup:
 
Shaw said in commentary last night that he played him the night before for $500 a set. Beat him in one set and Mike gave up and left..

I'm thinking it will be a lot closer either way. Bustamante lost 13-0 to Archer in a gambling match one set, don't think anyone would score their next 3 at 39-0.

I'd be very suprized if either of them is ahead overall by more than 20 games over the 3 days. That would be 81-61 or so.

It's different when busty doesn't get to shoot and Johnny runs the set out.

Mike and Jayson played on a tight table and from what I heard MD just couldn't get there. Coulda been a bad day for Mike or Jayson could of just got all the rolls. Either way I think Jayson has a slight edge in the match from recent performance I've seen from both.
 
Take Shaw all day. Only thing Douchaine has on him is the break. Shaw better in every other aspect of the game. easy money $

It would be a better post if you did not make fun of Mike in it, obviously you don't like him which leaves any other opinion moot.
