Did anyone hear Jayson Commenting about doing deals with SVB?

Jayson is 24 yrs old, and as Daz pointed out in chat, he's got some maturing to do. He had just lost a heated battle vs Earl and I suspect some of that heat flowed over to his commentary. I hope Jayson can and will watch the Earl match again and then the finals when he commentated. Lots of lessons for the young man to learn IMO in doing so.

BTW, I really enjoy watching his electric play and look forward to seeing him progress.

Most people learn how to keep their mouth shut by 14...not 24. If you didn't learn by 14 someone would shut it for you...think wired jaw. Johnnyt

A thread about a potential chop between players?

Nooooo. Really?
Pool players chop prize funds?

Say it isn't so!:D

Talk about not knowing something...you are what's wrong with pool. What the hell are you on. You put furniture together for a living and your opinion about pro pool shows it. Johnnyt

Really?...coming from a POOL player with a Valley table outside on your porch...really? For your information, I don't put furniture together for a living...how dumb on your part. And for YOUR information, I know what's wrong with Professional Pool, and how to fix it...which is now what I'm working on. Only thing is, I don't need to explain to you or anyone else how to fix pool, I'm just going to fix it and sit back and watch the outcome, so don't none of you even bother asking me how I'm going to do that, just wait and see.

And as for this little discussion going on...if PROFESSIONAL pool players got paid enough from this sport...there wouldn't be any splitting of prize money, or dumping in the hopes of making more money on the side...that was the point of my post. Along with the fact that all those that are concerned with what Shane may or may not be doing as a player, is really none of your business...seeings how none of you are directly involved anyway. NO Pro wants to lose to another player, even if the money is even pay, it's called PRIDE, so for those of you who think that the more the prize money, the harder a player is going to play to win...is where you're only fooling yourselves into believing that.

Wow man, before I just thought you were just a bad case of NPD.
Now I see you don't actually have a sense of morals,
and will cheerfully steal from someone because you feel entitled to a slice of their private bet.

I know you pride yourself on not giving a shit what others think, like that's something to be proud of,
but openly admitting you'd dump in a pool forum?

I guess that's one way to deal with a heavy workload... who wants to trust this guy with their money?

Think so?...well, I've always felt that if someone was going to make money off of me playing pool against someone else...it would be respectful to let me know first, so that we could share a little in that side action....but I guess I just kind of looked at it as stealing side bet money that I could have covered when betting on the match;)

I've always made more money playing below my speed when playing cheap and losing, then later playing for much higher stakes with the same person, playing just good enough to win...it's called lose for cheap, win for high;) But when someone comes up to me after I've lost for cheap and tells me that they lost money betting on me...they should have talked to me first, I could have saved them the loss, provided we could work out something when I was ready to win against who I was setting up to beat.

This is one of those topics that not everyone is going to agree on. Situations dictate ones decisions sometimes. This is not something to turn on each other over. Morals should not be judged on something like this. There is no right or wrong in Jason and Shane's situation... Just a situation and a decision

I'll take Johnnyt in a race on that Valley, you choose the length.

Best 2 out of 3 for $1k a man

Straight pool to 150pts

Race to 11 9 ball

Race to 11 8 ball

Winner breaks, rack you're own. I have a table and I would hope you approve with how it's set up. Say when fat man

Why not just settle this the civil way and just fight for $500?

This is exactly why pool is going down hill , lack of integrity in the game plain and simple

You're a pool player, not a furniture installer, right? If you're feeling froggy, then jump fat man

This is going downhill fast! Okay, why don't you two just go ahead and fight for $1,000?

Has anyone mentioned that Shaw hit the bar after his loss? That may be one reason he was going on about a "saver" with Shane.
