So far I've had ZERO offers from people selling their Kamui vouchers.
How many of you complainers actually bought the stream?
I already redeemed mine for a Kamui Clear for my wife. She loves it.

But no, it's more fun to b1tch because Megan Fox didn't bring your tip and a lathe to your house and give you a happy ending.
Wait... I wasn't in a complaining mood, but if some got this perk and I didn't, I WILL boycott Kamui! They could lose... TENS of dollars from my potential business! :grin-square:
a buddy of mine had a couple of these "vouchers" for a free Kamui tip. The problem he ran into was getting someone to honor it. Several well known tip guys said they had a hard time getting reimbursed from Kamui for these handouts so they were reluctant to honor the voucher. It was explained that they had to front/install the tip then TURN IN the voucher to Kamui and HOPE that Kamui would replace it. They all said thanks but no thanks... It may not always be like this but I was there and heard it first hand.

OK, perhaps I'm a lucky one. Within a day of my emailing Kamui, I was advised my nearest authorized installer is at a local hall I frequent:
Hello, and thank you for contacting KamuiTips.com. According to the information you submitted, the closest installer is Don Liebes in Greensboro, North CarolinaPhone: 336-856-8800 Email: don@gatecitybilliards.com Please contact Don for authorized Kamui Tips service Thank you,KamuiTips.com
I don't get some folk here. A company could award someone in a contest a $1000 cue and some would b1tch you had to drop 82 cents in gas to go to the post office because you were at the pool hall when they tried to deliver. Good God, give Mark a reasonable chance to try and clear this up with Kamui. Or maybe, just maybe, you could email Kamui direct and explain you are 120 miles from the nearest authorized dealer - can you please just mail me my FREE tip?

See post # 26. Megan Fox???? A cue tip and and a thousand dollar cue. I would not drive to San Francisco for a thousand dollar cue and I wouldn't drive 60 miles for a cue tip. I admit to complaining without thinking it out. What will you admit to regarding your post? Would you really have driven to Greenville to get your tip?
I may have come off a little strong in my Megan Fox post. My apologies.
Was just trying to buy BFDLAD some time to clean it up and hate to see him take heat for a good deed gone complicated. :embarrassed2:
DEALER: how can i help you?
ME: i've got a voucher for a free tip - what do i need to do?
DEALER: the nearest "dealer" is 100+/- mls from you, please proceed....
ME: ok, thank you. however i can't do that, obviously; not cost-effective. can you please MAIL me the free tip, if i mail you my voucher as proof, & i'll have someone local install?
DEALER: i'm sorry, but you MUST redeem/install @ an "authorized dealer", and we will be happy to accomodate you. and thank you for your business.
ME: not going to happen. so will you CR me my COSTS to redeem? @ $100/hr & $0.53/ml? for a $30 tip that wholesales @ $10? over $0.50 postage dispute?
DEALER: no máam, and those are the rules, máam.
ME: REALLY?!?! cause this is N-O-T a problem.... you can KEEP your $10.50 tip, and i'll POST on AZB & hit 45K pool players from here to EU-rope/China, and we'll see how that works for you - i'm already in the hole via my time & our conversation.
DEALER: máam, my manager has over-rided & we are sending you your free tip, today. thank you for your business & ENJOY!
(there's a lot to be said, for PMS!)
Ok, I still have no response at this point. I hope to hear tomorrow, if I don't I will figure out a solution somehow. I need to know how many people here at this point are having a problem with the voucher in one way or another. Please let me know so I have something to work with. Thanks
I have had no responses, Please can you let me know? See above post I made. Thanks

I call bullshit on this.
are you saying that only mercedes can work on all of my MB's and only Harley can work om my HD's?
and, aren't they a bit more intricate that a cue tip? especially if they are advanced and flowed and ported, cammemd, and supercharged etc".
are you kidding me or trying to kid others or just kidding yourself? i haven't a clue.
is this a joke?
do you think harley can do the work of s&s and others?
just curious as how you judge kamui - your incredible company that has these unique secrets that only their endowed techs can accomplish to put a little tip on a little piece of wood. it must take an exhausting amount of time learning.
please tell me more...
and to imagine - only their techs can accomplish this. maybe i need to fly to another state to have one installed by a kamui certified tech = one who has a cue lathe. oh i forgot, i have a cue lathe.
Well then, since I'm "due" the respect..... please explain WHY you see it like that.
