Next week. I was wondering if people could give opinions on good pool rooms to stop in for action. 200 sets of 9ball, 100 a game one pocket. I appreciate any input. I plan on making it about a week long trip.

Ask for Chris at Premium Billiards in Syracuse, pretty sporty One Pocket player. Plenty of action in there on Saturday night. Call ahead and let the counterman know you're coming in and he'll have a shooting gallery to pick from.

Awesome, thank you.

East of Syracuse

One of the things I learned about up-state NY,...... you drive to everywhere! there is nothing "just around the corner," if there is you are lucky!

heres 2 EAST of Syracuse. (There is 1 in Syracuse, but I haven't been there in yrs.)

Hippos in Utica. Spotty action

Further east in Amsterdam is Sharpshooters. You should have no problems there. Tues. nite is "practice" nite !

Brian, you forgot Baltimore, if you are coming up 95 go through the 95 tunnel (just before the tunnel you will see the city and studiams) stay on 95 until you reach 695 and go west (towson) you will go about 5 miles to perring Parkway, take the first exit stay straight through the red lite, pool hall will be on the right!

Top hat is the name.

There is always action there, moderate to big action!

Tell em RICHIE sent you here, F it tell them your my cousin from out of town, you will get quick action, after all we are cousins.

If the dentist is a left handed player, my man Vanover played him around 10 years ago, iam not sure what pool room we were in, but i do remember a holiday inn just across the parking lot.

The dentist would only play 100 dollar races to 9 (nothing wrong with that), Vanover beat him easyly for 2 quick sets (somebody there knew Vanover and knocked the action) .

But that Dentist (if it was him, i pretty sure it was) was a very nice man and very respectful, He shooked Tom hand in told he that he knows he was in a bad game.

No action in Syracuse

Syracuse has no heart and no cash.

Go to Premium Billiards to play if you like, perfect tables, maximum $20 action and they'll run scared from anybody they don't know.

Could reccomend to great restaurants if you like, gambling on pool is a lost art here.
