32 Men Left Standing: Friday 2013 U.S. Open 9-Ball Thread

There's another one of Greg Sullivan sitting at the end of the row.

AzBilliards Gold Star of the Day goes out to who can name that player shooting right now. I can tell who it is by their stance. ;)

You know, I don't see how any of them are not being distracted by that WILD carpet pattern. :D

I guess the players' eyes are fixed on something else? ;)

It's NielsF.

Interesting that the scores are much, much tighter today. We won't see as many 11-2s as we've seen lately.

Feijen.....

You're right, bdorman, the scores are neck and neck today. These are tight races.

Remember that the following are Winners Side matches, so if somebody loses, they still go to the B side fo the chart:

Shane Van Boening v. J. Sossei.
Niels Feijen v. Oscar Dominguez.
Jayson Shaw v. Johnny Archer.
Chris Melling v. Mike Dechaine.

The rest of the matches, whoever loses is out of the tournament.

Tommy Kennedy 6 to 2 over Ralf Souquet. Tommy Kennedy is really having a great tournament.

Shannon and Shorty, 5 to 4. Tight race here.

Donny Mills fighting back against Rodney. Donny climbs to 5 against Rodney's 6.

Oscar and Feijen have been shooting through a handful of safety battles on table 2. Feijen currently leads 5-3, but the match is very tight.

SVB and Sossei are both playing extremely well. Shane lead the match 4-0 early on but his opponent clawed back to tie the score. The South Dakota kid looked as if he found his break and reclaimed two more racks to inch ahead 6-4, but fouled in rack 11 off the snap.
