I am really having a hard time getting a game. A lot of times when Gene is out giving a lesson at someones house I take off with the van and get myself something to eat. Then I go to a pool room and either just practice pool or I sit and watch other people who are gambling. No one ever asks me to play it seems. I have been starving for some action as of lately. The last time I got any action was at Q Masters and that night I won $600 that was well over a week ago and I play pool every single day. What's up with that?
It can be tough to judge a girl's game. Lots of guys would probably conclude they are either gonna be stealing or getting stole from, so they go for something a little more comfortable.
As they say in golf, 90% of games are won on the first tee.
Typical golf barkfest:
Player A: "I didn't get any sleep, I need 3 a side today for a hundo"
Player B: "I was up all night with stomach pain, I'll play ya even"
A: "I had an appendectomy 2 days ago, I need 3 a side"
B: "Oh R'ly? Didn't know that. OK, you get 3"
Game over.

Nothing personal Rhea but some of it is probably the
"getting beat by a girl" syndrome . It's going to make action tuff at some places
Your action is waiting for you at Brickyard you are so starving for. Mark is ready for some action with you. Rhea there are gonna be a lot of boring times as a poolplayer you'd better get used to them. Jesse, Mark, Jose, Tommy, and Cheeseburger are all ready for you. :thumbup:
Truth...it has gotten rare to see anyone playing for money in the pool rooms a around me, much less find an opponent.

Nothing against you or Gene but i had clinics booked up for 4 days and now apparently Gene is taking my students from me. After me getting a call today and this is not good business at ALL. Complete disrespect working with the pool room i was planned to work in for 4 days, planned 2 months in advance.

Confusing? How did Gene take your students? And how exactly are they "your" students if you have not taught them anything yet? This gives folks a choice, Gene or you. Basic competition in the American market place... what's not to like about that ??
I don't see a problem at all.... and some folks might choose both since Gene is more of an "alignment" guy with his "pefect aim" system, and you are more of the nuts and bolts guy. Acually, you could have worked together, and gave everyone a discount if they went to you both to get the "full package".
Maybe the room is partially at fault here. As said in prior statement , why couldn't you both do your thing and work together? Try calling Gene and work it out.
