Just got this cue from Al and i must say this is incredibly beautiful.
The amboyna burl is just one of the nicest amboyna burl i've seen...coupled with the butterfly work and gorgeous finishing this cue is a pleasure to look at.

This is my second Blackpearl cue and his work has improved leaps and bounds and the dreaded finishing is so glossy that photographing the beautiful burl was a challenge.

As always, Al's cues plays remarkable and i strongly encourage everyone to try his cue.



















 
If i had to nit pick, the wrap don't seem to go very well with the cue but that's all Al had in his stash so i'm thinking of changing it to something else.

Any recommendations?

Black Elephant Ear?
Cognac Elephant Ear?
Brownish Spanish Bull?
 
Beautiful cue Jive and great work Al. The cue does look very glossy, enjoy.
 
Great looking cue buddy., very nice piece of amboyna burl there. Nice matching extension. Send the cue to me to try for little while and I send it back before I head back to Asia.

I also love this cue. Al surely builds a wonderful cue with a extreme attention to detail.

BTW, love those 1/2" ferrules!!

This is a really nice design. I especially like the burl joint and butt cap. That is fairly unusual but really works on this cue. Like it LOTS!!!
 
That is gorgeous Jive!!! You're one lucky dude... It's nice to see Al is putting out some monster players, haven't seen anything new from Al in a while... This one may be my favorite :smile:

Thanks for all the kind words guy...this cue is beautiful and I think I picked the worst time to post this cue on AZ....it's on the same page as some incredibly hot Searing, Haley and Tonkins...
 
Anybody still on the fence should absolutely try one of Al's cues....looks great but plays even better!
 
nice Cue Buddy andi would go with same brown ee wrap as in theforearm or cognac lizzard:wink:
