TBH Corey got screwed this year.

There are few players the USA has that actually have the confidence and composure at the table that Corey Deuel does. Despite the fact that he is a part time pool player he STILL puts out a very strong presence at the table and has nerves of steel. That is something that cannot be said about many American players these days.

If you asked this years Team Europe players who they would least like to play in a match in a major event between Corey or Hatch they would universally state they would want to avoid Corey. He might be a part time player but he has the speed and the composure to always be dangerous in every match.

I also agree, you guys could really use Canada, if for no one else other then Alex. But I also think Klatt would be a strong addition.

One has to wonder how many of these events you need to watch before you start seeing the writing on the wall.

I know you are patriotic Jam but while blinders might allow you to not see the things happening all around you they still happen none the less.

The first part of dealing with a problem is admitting you have one.

I agree that Hatch nor Morris should be on the team. And although Earl played well today, he shouldn't be there either. The problem is that who are you gonna put in their place? Corey deserves it but he probably doesn't dedicate himself enough to earn the points necessary, and the next tier of American players just can't compete against Europe's best.

Shuff and Dechaine showed that they can't play under the pressure. Oscar showed it the year before that. Charlie Williams can't play. Stevie can't get there. It's just the way it is I guess.

Outside of SVB, who I would rate ahead of any of the Europeans, the Americans just play second tier pool right now.

All that rah rah rah shit keeps him from focusing too. And more then anyone he needs to focus as he's by far the worse of the z10 players.
He's at least the 7 ball under like 6 of the players.

Part of the problem is there's not team unity on Team USA. None of them are in unison like the Team Europe members are.

On the Team Europe side, you saw all five players right behind the player competing in the pit, front row and center. After every game, they came rushing over to encourage or give congratulations.

Team USA, where were all the members? Sure, some were in the audience, but I didn't see a lot of them up front by the player like Team Europe was.

Team Europe eats, sleeps, and practices togehter. Everybody on Team USA goes their own way.

And then there's the BCA who doesn't do squat for American professional pool.

American professional pool is circling the drain, and nobody gives a damn.

No points were needed this year. If your not part of the dragon promo crew/archer crew your not getting in, bottom line. That's why hatch is there. The only reason he's there. He's not even a top 10 American anymore. In 2000 he was, now he is not.

You got to practice. Earl, SVB, archer practice.
All the euros practice.
Rodney, hatch do not it shows. Picking up pay checks only. Probably chopped it all with the euros before hand. It's been done before.
