WOW, I need that guy, I paid $1500 through my attorney, I opted for the attorney route because they understand how to describe the product better then I do, use big words and stuff. I found that having an patent attorney is well worth it. oh, and my utility patent is going to be around 7k
i have a invention for pool, that i have just protyped.
If anyone knows of any investors that would be interested in my invention. I will take care of you after the deal.
Sorry i will not discuss the invention. This has been something i have worked on the last 3 years.
I will say about 50% of pool players in the world will buy my invention.
please pm through here thankyou.
Stay with whatever it is and don't let others opinions discourage you. Who knows all these negative people here may be like the people who laughed at the guy who invented plastics when they had a chance to invest in it. I wish you success in what ever it may be.sorry i have not been online was a little under the weather, but this keeps getting better and better. While i was messing around with my invention i created two other inventions lol.
realkingcobra commented there is not a patent ideal that 50% pool players would buy, but you are wrong
TATE sorry tate i can not disclose what it is because it is a new market untouched
sorry petey i dont do drugs but 50% is the number
jburkm002
sorry ideals and inventions are different, you can not patent a ideal.
cleary we can bet on it
thank you jaden
just looking to see what is out here thankyou all
thanks jrackman, i dont let opinions bother me, if i did i would have never even gotten past phase one.
I cant wait to see what happenes in 2 years, i think a lot of people here are going to be surprised how this game is going to change.
Here are some items that 100% of all pool players need to use, in no particular order:
1/ Pool cue
2/ Chalk
3/ Leather tips
4/ Cue case (99%)
5/ Pool Table
Besides these items, I cannot think of anything else that even 25% of all pool players need to have/use.
spimp13 i understand about having credibilty
actually in the last 5 months I have been working countless hours on this invention and other ideals. When i made this post i didnt really think about all the responses i was just so happy to see something i made worked. I feel like i can touch my goal but it is across the world.
JoeyA
I would love to go on that tv show omg
voiceofreason
i did not say 50% of people that play pool
I said 50% of pool players
although this invention does not have to revolve around pool it can be used for other items actually
To everyone here thank you for your interest in frunding my invention, i am currently seeking other ways of funding my ideals and inventions, mostly due to the fact i dont know you and you dont know me. I dont want anyone to think this is a scam in anyway, and i dont want to be scammed.
Although i hope to develop some trust and friendship with the azbilliards community. My intentions are for the better of game, playes and host of the sport, which i was willing to take a loss on one invention to support or ideals and inventions.
...Who knows all these negative people here may be like the people who laughed at the guy who invented plastics when they had a chance to invest in it...
Go get 'em, BBL. You're having fun even if you don't make a dime.
I've got about 15 pool inventions I've done over the past few decades but I mostly just use 'em for my own purposes. I give some away and use some of those for free to help my team, etc. One of those, though, would be good for close to 100% of people playing pool and it would work as an excellent, proven advertising tool, too, but...

Great advice Jeff! Always nice to see links to Austrian economists hereSave your money. Patents are not so hot if you don't have enough to produce your thing, you don't have enough to fight it in courts.
Just make the thing and get it out there first and market it best.
imho,
Jeff Livingston
PS Here's a patent attorney who argues against getting patents: http://www.stephankinsella.com/
