Ehhh you see a lot of weirder things. Take a look at Bustamante and Mike Davis strokes. Plus John Schmidt holds his cue with his wrist locked and his pinky sticking out (like a tea cup) and he runs packs like it's his job……wait…..I think it is his job…..

Some cues come in different lengths with their weight being distributed differently. Never grip it tightly. Make sure your forearm is perpendicular to the ground.

I'm not cultured enough to know how to properly hold a tea cup That explains why I stink at pool. lol

Never grip it tightly. Make sure your forearm is perpendicular to the ground.

More importantly, hold the cue where your arm is perpendicular to the cue, when the tip is touching the CB.
