c) that hand gesture is anything but a "satanic salute". The legend is that Ronnie James Dio's grandmother did it as a sign of the evil eye curse (or something like that), sure, but it has since been transformed (for oh, about THIRTY YEARS now) into a sign of celebration; meaning anything from "I love you" from the fans to the performing band to a sign of respect amongst rock/metal cultures.

And I hope that you are aware that Christmas originally was a PAGAN holiday? And that the Christians stole the holiday after conquering different cultures which celebrated the winter solstice in an attempt to have something that rivaled the already established celebrations.
