There are other Pro's that post on AZ Billiards that sell DVD's, Books, Cues and Cases. They do it in the For Sale section If at all and do not, however thinly disguised, on the Main Forum. For Example Ray Martin, John Schmidt, Jay Helffert, Jack Justis, Dan Janes and others. When these guys post it is relevant to pool...when you post it is all about you! Just my opinion but while your intentions may be genuine they do not come off that way.

I say this with all due respect also so don't be offended.

There's an easy solution. Don't read his posts. Just block him and you won't see any of it. Why waste your time bashing the guy? Think he's going to change because you criticize him?

I like to read all kinds of different opinions on how to play better. Some I like, some I don't. But I sure do appreciate that somebody took the time to put it out there. It's really no different than the many discussions I have at the pool hall with players both better than me and not quite as good.

It doesn't offend me that somebody wants to make money in the billiards industry either. My first book about pool was "Mastering Pool" by George Fels that I still read to this day. The last training aid I bought was CJ's banks and kicks DVD and it has been helpful (The only other one I have is "99 Critcal Shots" by Ray Martin). The market place will eventually determine if they stick around or not. Mr. Fels (may he rest in peace) certainly was well respected. Only time will tell if CJ can make that transition from championship player to teacher.

I personally think that the guy has something to offer considering he has done it, so I do read his posts.

Forget the wanted/for sale section. I vote we make a Cj Wiley section. That way he can post all his crap there.

Even for people who actually like cj on the forums they have to agree he self promotes way too much and brings up the opportunity to talk about himself at every chance.

if the coyote is relegated to "buy/sell" the cue and case pimps will have a roadrunner

I am not a fanboy nor a hater, but Good God some of you are bigger drama queens than my 14 year old daughter. Jeez.

Jeez, as pogmothoin points out, if you don't like CJ's posts or they somehow offend you then don't read them. CJ is a major contributor to the forum and is enjoyed by many. Take a deep breath and find something else to obsess about.

Can I hear a Amen:smile: This site has the Baskin Robbins of personalities.
Even if some may not mesh, which is normal, I just won't read a person's
post if I find them irritating or annoying.
I was reading a old thread where I read a comment and thought ''what a tool ''
then noticed that I was the one who wrote the comment.
I then proceeded to say to myself again''what a tool '' :eek::smile:

Amen! AMEN!

I won't give you an amen but I will say "X2". People whine and complain on forums like there is no tomorrow

Hold on a second here, I scrolled down the main page and just realized the
the guy that started this thread also started another about CJ's videos and
stuff and wanted feedback from other az'ers on what hey thought about
his product because he had some interest in them.
I'm totally lost on this one:confused:

You are missing the point

If you read the thread the point is CJ is selling on the Main Forum. He is bypassing the For Sale section which has 48 hour bump rules which we all have to follow.

Maybe a PM to CJ and to the moderator notifying him of a possible TOS violation would be a better way of handling this, rather than doing it publicly.

Don't you think if the mods feel he is committing a crime they will let him know? Does it REALLY concern you that much?

Sounds a lot like "mommy, mommy, Johnny is looking at me" ;)

No no,I get what your saying but you inquired about his product on the main forum
and started a thread. With all the positive feedback on your thread was also
a way that his product got advertised and promoted.
I think when you said that you thought he was being disingenuous on this
thread but interested in his product in another thread, through me for a loop.
