I hate to disappoint everyone, but that DVD was just a joke.

Not bad... except there is no element in the Mendeleev Periodic Table that's merely "[G]" with an atomic number of 64.

You might want to try [Be]ryllium, which has an atomic number of 4.

Then you can say "[Br]eaking [Be]tter." Or, in your case, orrowing [Be]tter. :p

I know, just pushing your uttons......it's all in fun of course, I hate to disappoint everyone, but that DVD was just a joke.

The Humor is the Teacher ;)

CJ, is my understanding correctly that you are telling that first, shift the cue to the right but hit the "old" center before the shift? ... or hit the "new" center between the "old" center thus creating a little "outside" and the point where the tip was pointing after the shift?

My question might be a little bit confusing but it makes a geometrical sense. Once you shift the cue to the right, the tip point to the right of the center of core. If you use the center for regular straight shot, you point the tip just a little bit to the left of the center of the core, unless of course you hit with the cue with some angle to your sight from the "old" center toward the pocket.

Hit it at the center, just like it's straight in and see what happens.

NOW YOU TELL US!

And I just skipped a great lunch of lomi lomi salmon and poi so I could save enough lunch money to buy it.

I think you may need to come out with a NEW video for the naysayers on here. Since most of them will question ANYTHING a PRO says, then I would like to team up with you to produce MY new pool series.

I'm going to call it TOBS...TOUCH OF BULLSHIT!

Seems more people believe BS on here than fact...I think it will become one of the BEST SELLERS!

Aloha CJ.

Like this thread for example? Actually we have three new DVDs out in the last 3 days, and we're working on 5 NEW ONES.

1) 'How to Create a Signature Line that Irritates Dislikers'

2) 'How to play 'Two Shot Shoot Out' (2 Foul 9 Ball) in three weeks or less'

3) 'Pool Stroke of the Samurai - HAMMER STYLE'

4) 'Why Two Shot Shoot Out is More Difficult Than One Pocket' (with 69 examples)

5) 'Breaking Good' - How to Improve a "Methed Up" Break

Now, that's pretty good, Mr. Wiley. But where's the hat? You can't be Heisenberg without the hat.

The lovely Mary Avina did a nice job slimming you down in Photoshop as well, but I think she methed up a bit. Next time, tell her to line the torso up with the shoulders and no one will be the wiser.

What I do is create a model that combines the skills needed

Yes, you can do that if you like, there's more than one way to experience TOI.
Pool, like any other form of self expression (like musical instruments or painting)
should be experienced on a personal level.

What I do is create a model that combines the skills needed and then at some point
encourage (and assist) my students to find their own personal way of developing it into their own game.

This is how golf and tennis is taught, not to mention martial arts. We all have strengths and weaknesses,
and this will determine much of how we develop our most effective playing styles.

I show 3 different ways to experience TOI in the Touch of Inside Video...
.this gives anyone the flexibility to discover their best game......through practice of course.
'The Game is the Teacher'

.your eyes are playing tricks on you,

Sorry, Bud, no photoshop required...your eyes are playing tricks on you, :yikes:

Thanks, CJ. This is what I like about your instructions.

From my vantage point, for the Game to get more popular {again}, it must .....

You're welcome, it's tough to describe some pool techniques in writing, but that should get you on the right "track".

Like any advanced pool system it's challenging to explain the TOI without video. Even on video it took me 10 hours of demonstration and description to be satisfied that TOI is communicated properly.

Before you think it's a 10 hour video I'll put everyone's mind at ease, it's been cut down to just over an hour. The point is there's a lot involved in explaining something that ends up being simple. I took the 3 major calculations you have to make to play pool and blended them into one system so every shot can have similar qualities.

This was one of the biggest challenges of my career thus far - the playing is easy compared to truly communicating how I utilize the 'Touch of Inside' technique.

The key is to explain it in a way that you can REALLY do it, and not just say "wow, it's amazing, but I could never do that". After you watch {and apply} this TOI Video anyone can make improvements (at their own level, whatever that may be) and jump up levels in most player's performance.

From my vantage point, for the Game to get more popular {again}, it must become easier for MANY to play better and learn easier. This is my outcome and my long term goal and {I} will do whatever it takes for my teacher to rise in popularity, and 'The Game is my Teacher'.

I watched all four (PPV) videos the first time last June or July and since then I constantly have been having new insights about the materials.

First, I think I understand what it is , then I try using it and after a while I realize what I did was wrong and there is a better way to do it. At the same time I understand I could not do it another way at that time, my technique and understanding depth were not at that level yet to comprehend it and I am sure in the future my understanding will change about what I know at the present moment.

so i have my son tonight for my birthday (it's my off-week).
and he is getting his 12 Days of Xmas presents - which is today/MY BDAY.
he ran to the tree, and ripped open the padded envelope from CJ
(i now know where you live....)
yelling: CJ Wiley! CJ Wiley! WHAT is it, Mom?!?!

(this is AFTER he got his Scorpion signed cue from Johnny)

so i showed him the PMs from CJ....all of them.
and he is now watching THE EARL MATCH.

but moreover, he couldn't believe, that he had 2 PMs from CJ, to aid him PERSONALLY, in his shooting

MY SON IS LEFT-SIGHTED/LEFT-HANDED (like me), and insists on now being RIGHT-handed....

what an absolute AMAZING BDAY/12th DAY present!

(and THIS, is WHAT, POOL, is MISSING)
