Various pictures from ICCS Cue Shows MONSTER CUES...ENJOY!!!!

Your uncle has a great collection. Always fun to chat with at the shows.

When I get some time I will get pics up of some old Bushkas- previously owned by the likes of Jersey Red and Joe Balsis. Two Paradise cues that were gifts from Frank Sinatra to Dean Martin and his son. Mosconi's Palmer. All from my Uncle Ricks collection. I hope everyone enjoyed the photos - thanks for looking

Delightful to wake up and see these cues. Looking forward to the rest.

Ya I kinda go over board at the ICCS shows now and ,ive been to8-9 of them now and kind of go over board with pics i have over2500 but year after year alot of the cues are the same ones from other shows so now i just try getting pics of new stuff that i havnt seen before

Thanks for all the enjoyment of looking at all the cues i dream of having. You and your uncle are surely assets to the pool cue collector community.

If you think Eden is cool then you'll really like Evolution it gives Eden the 7and the breaks...its the top cue in this picture ,Eden is the bottom cue

Hey Jake,
Thanks for posting pictures of cues.
Bob Manzino's cues are all diverse in design. They touch each individual in a different way. Yes, "Evolution was the last project I did with Bob and was over the top. I've had many tell me that "La Finestra" was their all time favorite cue also. "Eden" has also been mentioned by many as being a favorite. A true testament to a great cuemaker.

I haven't taken pictures of "Eden" in a long time. I'm going to post new pictures in the Galley now.
Thanks, again,
Ken Kerner

I couldn't agree more-EVOLUTION struck me as "best all around design, materials and execution" than any other cue i have ever seen,IMO of course...but i have seen many many many really nice cues, I mean the best of the best....like you have seen and you definitely came up with a great cue, because you knew where the bar was set and what needed to be done to make something that was on a whole nother level and EVOLUTION is certainly on its own level, followed closely by Eden. Eden is beatiful but its mlre subtle as where EVOLUTION just takes you breath away instantly ..

That was a real treat. Thanks for posting all of those pics Jake.

Hope you continue to post in the gallery.

Thanks again, Jerry

No problem Jerry,it was my pleasure,I love custom cues, going to cues shows and talking to the other collectors and cue makers, well most all of them. Lol. There is always people out there who have to try to ruin everyone elses good time. But ignorance is bliss and i ignore the ignorant and not let them ruin my good time.

I had no idea that az had so many topics and stuff about custom and cues, cue makers ect ect. All these years I just thought it was about tournament pool and some action matches...boy was i wrong, there is a little bit of everything. I amglad i joined...finally, but i have over 2500 pics from nearly 10years of cue shows and whatnot. I need to learn to take better photos but bear with me i am new to all this. Glad you guys have enjoyed them.:thumbup::grin-square:;)

Hi Jake,

Welcome! It is great to have you on AZB.

You posted some great photos of cues, and I know by watching you take pictures at the ICCS shows
that you have a ton more pictures of rare and beautiful cues......and have some great ones of your own!

See you and Rick at DCC shortly. I hope you are continuing to mend well.

Take care,

Will Prout

Hi Jake
This is Paul, we've met a few times at the ICCS shows (I have the messed up right eye) It's good to see you posting here. My question; what is the best hitting cue you've tried out of your uncle's collection and which is your favorite overall? I have to admit, seeing Rick's collection every year NEVER gets old for me!!
Paul

Hi Paul and Will
Paul I would have to say that the best playing cue IMO is any ivory jointed Schick. They just play so good,I would call the hit firm, not to hard -not to soft.
My favorite cue is probably Thomas Wayne's St. Patricks Nightmare. I just love that cue. Rick Rogers owns the Celtic Prince cue with IMO is one of the best ever made and I was fortunate enough to see it myself at one of the early ICCS shows.RIDICULOUS - SPEECHLESS

Will thank you so much for the kind words.
coming from a man that has your amount of knowledge, the collection you own and being the president of the ICCS it truely means the world to me. The amount of work you do for the ICCS is very valuable to the collectors and cue makers alike. Without your leadship, who knows the ICCS could have fizzled out after Stroud stepped down and its a true testament of your love of cue collecting to see it continue.

Thank you Will for everything you do for us

Jake,

You know Drawman623 as Gian, he has been to multiple ICCS shows and was an ICCS exhibiting collector this year in Atlanta.
The Gian Calise Collection.
Great collection of box cues!
