Why is bowling on espn at noon on a major football day and pool cannot be on ever?

pool was on every morning...

In the early 2000s pool was on espn every morning for an hour or two.

It must not have been watched much or they decided to fill those slots with something else.

At one time (recently) ESPN owned 16% of pro bowling. That may have something to do with it.

Thanks bob. If you ever want to play some straight pool on a tough table I live in Pittsburg ca. We can play even for $20-40 going to 150. Jesse 9253303429

I think we'll see lawn mower races before we ever see pool on TV.

The only Pool that has a chance would be an APA finals match.:D

Tournament of champion bowling. I like to bowl. But I live to play pool. Disappointed right now.
I doubt they have a lot of pool in the can to show beyond some old trick shot stuff and the ladies. I was told some years ago that Acu Stats had good enough quality now they may try to market some of it to TV. I wonder what ever became of that.

Pool would have a better shot to get on tv if we approached the HISTORY channel with it.
And
NOT espn a sports channel.

Lol

It is my understanding that a lot of accu-stats stuff is shown in Asia ...

That's not too hard to answer..."strong sponsorship". Which comes down to dollars and cents.

Because pro bowling is action packed and intense. Much like pro Curling. Maybe pool needs more fist pumping and high fives.:D

TSN up here in Canada used to show hours of pool and snooker each week, but it was eventually replaced by poker of all things. I've never been able to figure out why poker is on a supposed sports channel, who watches that shite? Now that TSN lost the rights to NHL hockey to it's rival networks, someone needs to approach them with some ideas to get some cue sports on there again.
