Ok cue experts refinish by maker or other

Unless the cue is worth $1500 or more, then having someone else do it is the way to go, provided they can save your BB logo.

Go back to the creator.......not just someone who has the skills to refinish it.

Do you send your car back to Ford, Chevy, or whomever FACTORY when it needs repaired?

I take mine to the local service center. It ISN'T the place or people who made my car, but it is an authorized dealer who can do the EXACT same thing.

Aloha. :)

That probably depends on the resale value and collect-ability of the car. If you have a first year Corvette I'm sure you would not take it to any old place to get it worked on.

Better still, while having Tony refinish your old BB have him knock out a new shaft and have a plays like new BB for a fraction of the cost.

Kevin

Did you have this same model cue for sale a ways back

Yes I know all about those shafts hit many off them ,, I talked to Tony yesterday that was the first thing he said ,

I don't know what cue you have. I'm glad to hear that Tony thinks like me. If Tony is willing to make you a new shaft and your cue needs a refinish, then to me its a no-brainer. People rave about his new shafts although I don't think I've ever hit a ball with one.

Keep the receipt.

I don't think I've had one of those. They are nice, a little bit of tasteful work and made by Tony. Were it me, and I liked the way it felt, I'd go with Tony for the shaft and the refinish and that would be a great cue.

Yes, but it is still NOT going back to Chevy... even if it were a 1953 :)

Even????

Especially. Can you imagine taking your flawless 50s Vet to a dealership hack?

In my mind, sending a cue back to the artist who originally hand-crafted it is far different than driving your mass assembled car up to a dealership where absolutely nobody thinks of anything except your money.
