Go back to the creator.......not just someone who has the skills to refinish it.
Unless the cue is worth $1500 or more, then having someone else do it is the way to go, provided they can save your BB logo.
You must mean 15k not 1500

Do you send your car back to Ford, Chevy, or whomever FACTORY when it needs repaired?
I take mine to the local service center. It ISN'T the place or people who made my car, but it is an authorized dealer who can do the EXACT same thing.

Better still, while having Tony refinish your old BB have him knock out a new shaft and have a plays like new BB for a fraction of the cost.

Did you have this same model cue for sale a ways back
Yes I know all about those shafts hit many off them ,, I talked to Tony yesterday that was the first thing he said ,

i don't know what cue you have. I'm glad to hear that tony thinks like me. If tony is willing to make you a new shaft and your cue needs a refinish, then to me its a no-brainer. People rave about his new shafts although i don't think i've ever hit a ball with one.
Keep the receipt.

That probably depends on the resale value and collect-ability of the car. If you have a first year Corvette I'm sure you would not take it to any old place to get it worked on.
Yes, but it is still NOT going back to Chevy... even if it were a 1953![]()
