it sorta is the same he hit a homerun same as getting 3 fouls, he has to touch all the bases and plate for it to count same as telling him he is on 2 fouls at correct time, runner didnt touch all bases and player didnt tell him at correct time, both appeal to ref for ruling. In baseball thats going to happen everytime and its ok, in pool he is a douche
Sorry bro, I see your point but I disagree. I don't have a problem with the part of the rule where you must tell him he's on two, I have a problem with the part that offers you a two second window in which to tell him.
And for the record, I know that I would consider that pitcher a big of a douche also.
The rule is a good rule, three consecutive fouls is a loss of game. The Douchieness occurs when the player is warned he's on two fouls, commits his third foul, an gets out of a loss because the warning was not during the allotted two second window.
I like the 3 foul I would also like the rule to say anytime after the second foul but it doesn't and I live with it anyone who plays pool should know and understand all the rules the big deal in this situation is that the other player did not understand these rules and warn him at the right time. I bet he knows it now I think DH gave him every chance he could to get it right and follow the rules just because no one likes this part of the rule doesn't mean it shouldn't be followed, it's not up to us to pick and choose what rules we enforce but we must play by all the rules that we have right now.

My opinion was only that the pitcher was a douche, not that the batter should get a home run.

You have a conflict then if the pitcher is a douche and the batter doesn't deserve a home run, this is an appeal play the only way the runner can be called out is if the fielding team appeals the play so if you were the pitcher what would you do? Lose the World Series because you think you will be a douche or appeal the play?

in order for this to be a more fair comparison, what if the runner missed home plate by a couple of inches because he was being mauled by his teammates after the home run?
It's kind of like the last shot in this years Mosconi Cup. The cue ball had clearly not stopped rolling when it was picked up but the US did not call a foul because in the spirit of good sportsmanship they knew it was a foul that should not be called because the cue ball was clearly not going to scratch.
This debate is tired and dead. If you guys really can't see why Danny's lack of sportsmanship in this instance was a douche move then may God have mercy on your souls and may all of your hot tubs be cold. Peace out, stay retarded

Home plate or second base it's the same next time you watch a game like this and the crowd is around look for the umpire he will be watching because they have to touch the plate as well and all the pros know it so they make sure they touch it.

The opposing team has to initiate an appeal. No pitcher in the world is going to call for an appeal after a walk off home run because he didn't specifically see the runner touch home plate in the midst of a celebration.
Maybe but the players are going to touch the plate because they know they have to. That enough arguing no one is going to change their minds as a baseball umpire I feel all rules should be enforced and would not think bad upon anyone for wanting rules enforced same goes for pool. If you don't feel that way so be it.
