Dumb questions on the forum

There are a ton of silly questions asked on this forum, that could easily be answered by the FIRST person you ask, in ANY pool room !..(assuming he is not retarded, and this is also HIS first time in a pool room) :rolleyes:

Sorry OP, this has been one of them ! :embarrassed2:.. It just goes to show, you can get 20 (possibly different) responses, if you just ask what color the eight ball is !..:eek:

"Silly" is in the eye of the beholder. You're not trying to discourage folks from asking questions here are you?

I'll try to answer any question, no matter how silly it may sound to some...

I'm glad he asked the question because I didn't understand it either. I always thought that this forum was a place to come and get an understanding of the game that we are all supposed to enjoy. I ask "silly" questions all of the time and I hope I get 50 different responses to them. The more the better and it just goes to show you how many people are actually here to help instead of belittling someone.

I still don't really understand the game of one pocket and not many people in my pool room play it. I'm one of those people that need hands on help instead of reading about it.
 
There aren't any silly questions. At one time, nobody on here knew the answers to any of them & had to be told. :smile: I don't know as much as some on here but will gladly answer any question I can.

There's no rule here that states "If you think a question is silly, you must read all responses".

Damn, Jim....Crappie to Carp (actually, the Gaspergou is a freshwater Drum, isn't it???).....that's akin to comparing apples to oranges!!! :thumbup:

Carp is probably better table fair than freshwater drum. I still catch hell from coworkers because I put some drum in the toaster oven at work over 12 years ago. You could smell it for over 3 months. Come on crappie spawn.
 
Good Question

Best questions to ask are the ones you don't know. There are a few that seem to be ALLOT smarter than all of us, but they tend to make that clearer and clearer with time. :grin-square:
