Is it a "Meucci Originals"??? Never seen anything like this...

This Meucci is one of the most sought after Meucci cues today. I have never seen one Ebay and if there was on for sale on the forum then I missed it.

I have seen only one in person just like this one (I think the joint was not piloted). Same veneers, finish and wrap color owned by an elderly gentleman in Wash, DC and that was 7 years ago.

I have no doubt that this cue may fetch near or at 1K at auction's end simply because someone will pay that much to add this to their collection. Look at this interest this cue is generating...I've never seen a Meucci post go two pages...lol.

If I were still collecting Meucci cues this is one I would keep an eye on...it is a very cool looking cue

Larry Collects Moochs

He has a clue. He might wish didn't! And I would like to ad all you have to do is change out the joint to steel. It is a $80 move. Any accomplished repair man could make it happen. The millionaire that owned the local poolroom had Mike Casey do just that to his daggers Cue.

You have no clue

:indecisive:

I have a clue. I'm guessing you were not around in 1975 when these cues were made...

and if you were around, you were still in diapers.

I am sure of it.

Why is this thread in the wanted and for sale thread? Should be moved....

A dime, really. I would think it's tough to go off that hard on an old Mooch. They are notorious for being out in the butt, prong even. :shakehead:

My buddy has one of these in ebony with old Waco blank with green veneers. The other one like it went to the owner of planet pool and he sold to billiardcue.com

495.00 for this model is fair. I emailed the seller asking what "it doesn't seem to be warped" means. Here's his reply.

In my opinion with the warp its not worth 5 bills unless you just have to have it. There's a few around and they come up occasionally.

I never said you didn't have a clue. I was referring to Killer Millers post. Saying 440 was too much for the MO-5.

I think the last year the DCC was at the Executive (whatever year that was) a guy had that one of these and was asking $200 for it....I said no. It looked exactly like this one and was in the same condition. Hell it might have been this cue for all I know. I was with Brian Roberts and he looked it over too and said this model was a real player back in the day.

LOL

It's gotta be players bidding on it, collectors would be up a K or better by now.

I believe there will be a frezny of activity toward the end of the auction which would push this even further. Kinda cool seeing a Meucci bringing this much discussion. I first started my collection of cues with Meucci and McDermott.
