Ronnie O'Sullivan scored a perfect run out of 147 to win the Welsh Open Snooker tournament in the U.K. today. Amazingly he literally shot the light out in the final deciding game with a display and level of shooting ability never seen before. Congratulations to Ronnie O'Sullivan destined to be the all time greatest snooker player of all time!

I had the good fortune to witness it too.

Quite possibly the best 147 ever for me, especially the last red/black along with a superb green!

Bernie.

OMG never thought that was on

how did you view it in Arizona?

BBC Wales They covered the event all week

Viz avatar you must be a geordie

Wahey man.

Nah, someone asked me to change my previous avatar for one showing a couple of women who represent the British Isles, and Sharon and Tracy Slag are as representative as it gets.

Is BBC Wales available in England? I've been watching Eurosport on a crappy stream that's been driving me mad.

Good to see the beeb are still taking £145 of my money and spending it on things I either don't want to watch, or can't watch. Well worth it.

I have to admit

While I dislike him personally, there can be no doubt that he is the most talented person to ever pick up a cue of any kind, past or present. The left-handed deep-screw to get on the final black was incredible. There isn't another player in the world who could have struck that shot so confidently. The scary thing is how in his late 30s he is playing the best snooker of his life, whether he wants to admit or or not. When he wants to win he is unplayable.

It is on Sky, recorded both coverage Eurosport and BBC Wales on my planner

You get a bit more background with the BBC

You sound bitter women troubles?

he would charge massive $$$$ for lessons, or on the right day...would do half a
for free

thats ronnie

I just don't get how he continues to play better and better, and as he gets older he commits to fewer and fewer tournaments.... Must be nice!

The best part about watching Ronnie is that it only takes 6-7 minutes or less to watch him make a century or better. I don't have an hour to watch Ebdon play a single frame.
