Local rooms by the SBE2014

Well, everybody and their sister will be at Sandcastle. About 5 minutes from the expo. That's the only room I went to away from the expo last year. The list and wait get pretty long later in the nights. Here is a link straight from the Billiards expo website. It's local places to play. Hope this helps. Have a good time. I'll be missing it this year. First time in 5 years.:frown: Oh well. Such is life.:embarrassed2:

Bustha,

Near the top of this AZ thread is a post from Elite Billiards which is also in Edison. Think the address was 519 Old Post Road. Sandcastle is the place to go but ....

There are 3 good rooms within 15 minutes of SBE: Sandcastle, Elite and On The Snap.

Sandcastle is the local action room. Good equipment and home to the Accu Stat arena. It's hte local action room too.

Elite has a casual atmosphere, all Gold Crowns that are well maintained and 3C billiard tables.

On The Snap has good equipment and a full bar/food service.

Of the 3, I personally like Sandcastle the best, but you cant go wrong with the others. All 3 rooms have 15+ tables too.

I've been to and taught in all three, and agree with Eric. Eric also plays a good game and has been known to hit a few balls with some AzBr's too (he is local to the area). If you go to On The Snap, kaznj (Joel) works there and also enjoys meeting AzBr's to play a little. Both are great guys!

I think Steve Klapp is at Elite Billiards for the week to meet up with the NYC crowd. Stop by there to check out some cues.
