Any notoriously tall players?

I've been wondering. It seems all the top pros are either tiny pinoys or average sized americans/europeans.

Are there any good players that are on the taller side? I'm talking 6'1'' ++

Just need some inspiration, being 6'3'' myself. Tends to be harder to have a good stance sometimes.

Mike Massey, I think Duel is pretty tall but not sure if he's over 6'

Justin from TAR is a giant (he may be even bigger than Massey) but I don't think I've seen him play pool, although he must.

Jim Rempe, Dave Bollman. Shane, Earl and Johnny are all around 6' don't really think they're taller than 6'1". Several snooker pros I believe are taller.

I'm 6'2" and a low, comfortable stance that is not fatiguing over long periods of play is something of a paradox.

Before he took a liking to poker, Nick Schulman was a very capable pool player. He stands somewhere in the neighborhood of 6'4", has a highrun of 154 and beat quite a few notable players. A friend of his once told him, "There isn't a single shot on the table a short person can make that you can't but there are plenty of shots you can make that short people can't."

In my opinion, the only reason why average/short people typically play better pool is likely because they gave-up on traditional sports at a younger age. When you're 5'9", it doesn't matter what baseball position you play. Scouts won't look at you unless you're amazing.

I think Dennis Hatch is somewhere between 6'2" and 6'4".

I am 6' and find all tables too low. I think that aiming and getting a perfect stance is much easier if you are smaller, but sure is much more difficult to play some shots far from the cushion.

If you're 6' and you're playing on 9' tables, there are lots of areas on the table you will have a hard time reaching over, whether you're right or left-handed.

Tables are not too low at all if you have to use a bridge or can't get a comfortable stroke to shoot any kind of shot.

I'm 6' 4" and I routinely mop the floor with 80 yr old pensioners and teen aged miscreants.

I remember Bob Osbourne. "Hippie Jimmy" Marino, 6'5" or so. My late friend "Peru Paul" Bowman was 6'4" AND 300 lbs. in his later years. Used tp be a player in Marion, Indiana who could take balls out of the side pockets from the end rail on a 7'table!
