Chapter 5, Not Giving up on the Road

I don't know if myself and others are criticizing her as much as finding fault with just about everything that she does and then reports back to the members of AZ.

Are they the same thing?

Maybe because it just goes against the grain of what a somewhat normal existence could or should be.

She wants to travel and be a Road Player. She obviously has failed miserably at that but persists in beating herself into the ground.

Wasn't going to comment but, the line that you wrote which says...

"If you're a C level player, I question that you can play your way to A level, at least in any reasonable period of time."

...is just crazy. Of coarse you can every good player was once a c player and most
I would venture if playing regularly got there in a reasonable period of time.

Now the part about practicing 4 to 8 hours a day and working a full time job
being easily accomplished, not so much.

How did that theory work out for JB ,, C-A is a astronomical jump and one that very seldom happens to older players regardless of how many hours they play

Playing in the pistol perez tournament in round rock. Have alot of supporters here and can get staked in tournaments and in large money games. Trying to get ready for the texas state tournament cant wait. Doing much better now.

You can get staked maybe but you still won't make the games because you demand too much weight.

Not that many fools around who haven't already been separated from their money.

Yawn.... Sorry...anyone I can play giving them the last three on the table should not be on the road trying to survive by playing pool. I play maybe once a week and I am just your average B or A player depending upon who you ask. I don't care what she has learned in the past six months. Unless she can now jump balls, kick multiple rails to get a safe hit, play safe, bank balls, and run out consistently...she has not improved enough to beat me heads up or play on the road. Those are not special skills...those are necessary skills to play at a level that is consistent with A speed or better.

Rhea's made her choice and I don't see any point in trying to convice her to do otherwise. If you want to help her probably the best way to do that is by giving or helping her find some cheap action and maybe get her a drink or some food if she happens to end up in your local pool room. No matter what is posted on here she is gonna be out there until she decides it's not for her anymore or something happens to her.

I agree she has no bussiness being a road player, but I also know quite a few no names that can give a lot of weight to players. That's all I was saying.

I'm a truck driver so when she said she broke into a truck and went to sleep I was sick. I heard people say a truck driver wouldn't do anything but I can tell you this. If I hear my door open while I'm asleep. I start swinging first and ask questions later.
