Looking for suggestions to label an event.

Please, nothing crude or vulgar.

Here's a little background info on the tournament:
- eastern North Carolina
- "APA style"
- 8-ball team event
- single elim
- $5,000 winner take all
- late spring/summer

This is not a sanctioned event and is not tied to the APA in any way. Anything involving the branding, logo, or anything else related to that league is strictly prohibited, so we cannot include that in the name.

1st Annual Dogwood 8-Ball Championship!

Dogwood is the state flower for North Carolina!

I remember they had a Magnolia Open in Mississippi many years ago, and I always liked the image. Magnolia is the Mississippi state flower.

Imagine the dogwood flower as a logo for this tournament. I think it would be sharp-looking.

Late spring, dogwoods will be in full bloom! :wink:
