Clear Coat about ready

Not sure if has been asked already but how does it stick to metals and different plastics? Will it be best to be used with or without sealer?

Yes! I will buy a pint or quart (whatever you decide to go with) when ready for use. Ive got a cue that is begging for a refinish because my first attempt sucked. Thank you. Tom

I am about as clear coat challenged as they come...and so far everything I have received from Tom has been great....count me in for a pint or 2 when it is ready

Wouldn't everyone!!! People must remember that a great finish is much more than the material itself. It is the summation of the material, the gun, the settings, the cleanliness and dryness of the air, the spraying conditions and a myriad of other conditions that affect the final outcome.

I don't know if it is true or not but it is my understanding that McDermott has a million dollars tied up in their finish system.

It's all in the tiny details that make for the final outcome.

That IS straight out of my gun. :D

I think i have about 1500.00 tied up between compressor, coelescing filters, dryer, and gun. I'm lucky to live in a part of California where the avg temp is 70 degrees.

WOW!!! and WOW!!! again. Congratulations as that is an unbelievable finish which I'm sure you are proud of. I don't know why you are looking for a substitute finish as you surely have mastered the one you are using.

I've always been proud of the finish that I attain but now I can see that it's back to the drawing board for me.
