Ebay TAD WOW!!!

If that's a Vincatore case, they did a great job copying the Dennis Swift custom Tad cases.

This set up should break $5,000. You are right, it is a great Tad. Lots of nice detail. I love those Maltese Cross inlays.

not sure where he dreamed-up Vincitore... Looks like Swift.

Wow, I said 5K it's already over 3K - maybe headed for 6? That's a lot.

I made a high offer. Guy says he already has an offer of 6k. I told him he should hurry up and take that. It wont be there in a day or so. Nobody wants to pay ebay fees on a sale over a few thousand.

I love those stacked square designs in the butt that look like playing cards spread out. The MOP crosses are sweet too.

I'm far from an expert but $6k doesn't seem so unreasonable...I've been lusting after the cue in this link for some time and they have some similar comparisons

one has a little more work and the other has the ivory joint

if you're in the market for a Tad (not the TAD TAD TAD we recently saw in the for sale section) these two have to be on your short list, it seems you'd have to look at both of them....hell, buy them both

If they are both 6k, I take the ebay cue all day. Its absoluely pristine.

eBay / PayPal are legally robbing Sellers and laughing all the way to the bank.
I have paid as much as a $4,400.00 fee on a high-end Luxury Watch Sale.
Mighty easy money for them in my opinion. With over $4m in gross sales,
they have robbed me of a Fortune.

Back on Topic ... I am lusting after that Tad in a bad way !

I just sold one very similar. Got $6K cash. This one has some extras too. Should bring more. Be interesting to see the final bid.

Great cue..............:)

Well I guess if you spend million and millions on a start-up e-commerce site then you'll have what I think is the right to charge whatever you want...If you don't like it, don't use them to sell things... You have a choice..

Oh yeah.... Very Nice TAD! :)

You are right, of course, about their cost of doing business. I was just
blowing off Steam and will continue to sell there due to the Worldwide
exposure my merchandise receives. Also a great venue for finding
items to fill my many collections.

Gonna think real hard about bidding on the Tad. It's a Beauty !

Yeah so I just read my post and it came off kinda harsh and wasn't meant that way... Your thoughts about exposure are right on imo... Have fun filling those collections... Share some on AZ sometime..:)

Sure do wish I was working right now.

I'd throw a bid up in a heart beat.

A nice Tad is about the only way I'd even CONSIDER trading my Sugartree off. But I'd rather buy one

What Uncle Howie, and yer going to make me buy my own air plane.

Just kidding. I'm gonna be flying that one home from your dirt air strip some day. Upside down with you in the passenger seat.
Actually I think it might end up the other way around.

I have always wanted a Tad. This is such a beauty. The killer for myself is I seriously dislike little Doo Dads on the end of the points.

I would never own a cue with Doo Daded Points.

I sell and buy off ebay whenever possible.

To send your cell number there and beat their robot program enter your number like this 123 four five six 7890.

I think Tads with that long buttcap are just sexy...someday maybe.

Bass Man is that a Carl THompson in your avatar?

It is not a CT, I actually built that with my friend Tony. I've been heavily influenced by Carl Thompson as well as Abe Riviera, Fodera, Ritter, ect. I always wanted one but never had the cash and always wanted it modified so 8 years ago I started the design process. It took me all that time to acquire the tools(and learn how to use them) and I finally convinced my friend to help me as he is a phenomenal woodcrafter and bass player. This is my dream bass in every way, ergonomics/sound/aesthetics and will always be a one of a kind. The back is carved to match the front and I did it all by hand with knives and scrapers(no pencil lines just my good ol eyeballs) in an old world technique!
