Mike,
You expressed my sentiments quite well and probably a lot of other posters as well, who just don't like to put themselves on the firing line.
The truth is, adding sub-forums is what is contributing to the demise of the Main Forum, well that and the trolls whose only contribution to the forum is ad hominem attacks on those whom they don't like or ideas that they don't agree with.
It is laughable that the cyber-goons are allowed to run from thread to thread, contributing nothing of value to the forums and only trying to irritate posters.
I'm not saying that about this particular thread. It's a legitimate question but my answer is, "Why waste the value of what TOI and CJ Wiley bring to the table by sending it to some silly sub-forum?" The sub-forum quasi-treatise is merely people's attempt to have their day in the sun.
CJ is apparently a lightning rod for some since he is still one of the best pool players on the planet with tons of knowledge. What I like about CJ is in spite of the needles that he gets, he just sends love, understanding and knowledge back in return? How can that be so bad?
If he did quit posting in this forum, we would only have ourselves to blame. How many pro players have we run off on this forum?
If you don't want to shoot someone with a gun, don't pick a gun up.
If you don't like someone, just put them on ignore and you won't see their posts.
If you don't like a particular thread, just don't open the darn thing.
It's really that simple.
I would post some rather fantastic perspectives about what I have discovered with TOI but the haters would just find another reason to harp.
I will say this, TOI has OTHER positive attributes that are not mentioned in this forum. :welcome:
