This afternoon I found a sealed Kamui chalk that my wife had bought me. I said what the hell, I'll give it another try. When I opened it I saw it was a much lighter blue than the other new one I threw in the garbage. This one doesn't stick to the CB at all yet. Don't know what's up with that. It does cover nice too. Anyone have any ideas why it plays so different leaving it outside sealed for a year? JT

Not trying to be a wise ass.Temperature and humidity changes.Possible oxidation if it wasn't sealed well.Hope this helps.

should say .98 .98a 1.21 or 1.21a on the bag.... and the 98s are a red bag and the 121 are a blue bag.... The blue 1.21 doesn't make as much mess as the .98 red versions...

Well we already have pre-flag masters, why can't "aged Kamui" be the next thing to get the pool playing inter-webs a flutter? Sounds like it covers & plays like master chalk.

What would be a fair asking price for "aged Kamui"? Set a $100.00 reserve on Ebay & watch the chaos ensue. :p

Blue bag. JT

That's is there cleaner version of the chalk... anything with an "a" after the number on the bag is the new formula they had to roll out because the chalk was falling apart/crumbling because of production issues...

I would hazard a guess yours will have the "a" on it as the chalk was reportedly crumbling from exposure to extremes in temperatures....

The UPS dude was trying to pull a move on you. He planted it there and plans on a rematch.
