cue fix

Hello. I am looking for information on one of these two cues or both. I bought these two cues several years ago off the internet based on the photos, as the light colored one looked like it could be a Harvey Martin. The pictures weren't real clear and after I got the cues and seen that the joint ring and butt cap were not ivory I figured it was not a Martin. Since then after doing some more searching I found a Martin that had a plastic butt cap, so my interest was reignited. Both of these cues are built old school with fat butts. Both cues have an H stamped on the underside of the rubber bumper. Any help is appreciated. Who is the person to authenticate Martin cues these days since Schrager has past away?

more photos for identification. The owners of these cues lived in California and were big into pool. I got the cues from their daughter.

Bringing this back from the dead since I only had two responses since I posted it. Who else ever used the brass 3/8 X 8 pin other than Harvey Martin?

A few things look wrong on the light colored cue for it to be a Martin. But if it is not a Martin someone sure copied a lot of Martin things into it.

Bringing this back for the weekend crowd. Who else used this pin other than Harvey Martin. I came across another thread on here that shows a joint pin and collar just like this one that was also believed to be a Martin. I know the wrap is not the normal Martin wrap, but you never know.

The spur marks under the bumper scream "import"

Yes, I notice that on the brown cue, but the light colored one is not the same. Usually imports use the 5/16X18 pin. have you seen other imports with the 3/8X8?

No, but the great duplicators in Asia wouldn't stun me if they made one. The pin doesn't look like any on a Martin I have seen, just the same pitch

Hi

I have a martin with that joint screw. Other things don't look quite right but ???
Maybe a early Schrager. How does it hit??

3/8x8 yes and brass. But the standard 60 degree pitched screw. That looks like a ball screw.
