Barry & I just got the word yesterday that Scott will be back at this year's U.S.. Open as the M.C. & will also be playing. When Barry came in my office yesterday to tell me, I have to admit I got very excited! My family & I always loved seeing him every year. I just wanted to share the great news with everyone. :-)

That is good news, when I think of Derby City and the USOpen I always think of Scot. In my opinion he is the best. I am glad he is back.

I like Scott. I enjoyed competing with him and getting to know him in Colorado back in the early 90s. I'm glad to see he's back!

Awesome news, he always had a way with his demeanor and words to get spectators interested in the matches.

Scott

Glad to see Scott the Shot is back! I had been friends with him and his Ex Laura for years back in Co. and hung out and played leagues in their pool rooms. Heck that was 25-30 yrs ago now. I enjoyed seeing him every yeat when he would come out and run the JOB tournaments. If you happen to read this good luck old friend!
Here is a trivia question for all you old timers... Can you spell Laura's maiden name? lol

NOW THEY JUST NEED TO BRING BACK THE RACK GIRLS!

Yes, that's all caps, as in shouting.

Welcome back Scott!

Welcome back Scott!

They were all beasts except 1. BB has baaaaaaaaaaaaaad taste in women, music etc. What was real funny was the year he finally dropped the sheriffs bagpipe band was the year he was arrested. I assume hiring them was a legal bribe.

Our loyal VIPs, your seat or seats are safe. Beginning Tuesday, July 22nd, all remaining VIP seats, of which there is more than last year, will then be available for anyone to purchase.

Players, there will be a link on the U.S. Open website on the Players page to pay your entry fee by credit card with a 3% fee plus a $5.50 service fee from Ticketfly or you can send a check or money order for $1,000.00; all the info is on the players page.

I will be in Las Vegas July 22nd-July 26th and I will be looking forward to seeing many of you.

I've always wondered where Scott had gone. I just didn't see him anymore. Figured he was just taking a break. Glad he's ok and coming back around.

WELCOME back Scott

So very happy to hear that Scott Smith is making his return to the pool world, he's been missed by many, if not all pool fans !

Scott is still around here in Colorado Springs. He's been playing a lot too. I know he played VNEA nationals at least Scotch doubles. I beat him in the finals of a NAPA tournament earlier this year. He can still play.
