Im not hating neither predator or ob they both make good shaft to me. And i think the reason predator is expensive is not just because of how good they are.

Regardless of my personal opinion I'm convinced that the lamination constructions, like predator and OB have, both need a very high precision in process and also in machinery. I know from predator that they had a couple of problems in the reliability of their lamination process, and I would wonder if any other company is able to insure a 100 % reliability from the first shaft on. Companies like predator and OB will not stop improving their process and quality systems, this is for sure. Rome wasn't built within 1 day, the question is more, how do the companies deal with if such a problem arises. Are they counting peas or do they react in a professional way to have the highest rate of customer satisfaction.
I got mine yesterday I received ob1+ shot just 4 racks of 9 ball I like it. You can def feel a weight difference in the shaft I bet it weighs less then my standard shaft. I did get an elk master tip put on for even more ball control and seems to work good. This shaft is also a lot more quiet then the originals.
I thought the 1st ones hit soft and quiet. These must feel like a marshmallow and sound like a mouse fart
if its even quieter than the 1st ones.
If you compare to your standard shaft, let me ask: what is your standard shaft? A 13 mm shaft? Or what else? And with what kind of tip and ferrule? Just to avoid a misunderstanding. Thanks in advance

Pretty much the general consensus is that all the new plus shafts give a little more feedback than the original shafts. Yes, that includes the OB-1 and the OB-2. Now, the Classic+ and Pro+ have a new ferrule design and have more noticeably feedback.
Also, from the responses we are getting, the cue ball squirt is reduced a little as well. Our calculations show a 13% reduction in tip end mass, so that's consistent with our findings as well.
I have a few locals who are strictly solid maple shaft players. All are friends and have nothing but nice things to say about anything we bring out, but they just don't order them. But, when they first hit the new +shafts, both of them ordered one within just a few shots.

In my test I found that the classic and 314-2 were about the same deflection but too me I sold the 314-2 cuz I found that the classic had much better hit and the guys at ob were great. That being said if the new shaft is 13% less I'm sure ull be happy with the new classic+ good luck

I'm not sure yet think I'm gonna get a new break cue first was thinking about getting the new ob 136 when it comes out but I may just get a shaft who knows I'm always trying new pool stuff but my ob sneaky is the one I always go back too
