I paid to watch this classic $15 today but I can't get it anybody know how thanks.
 
you know what the last 2 racks were cut off that's bullshit I stayed up till 4:53 am I missed the last 2 racks and the ending neeeeeever again
 
sucks. race to 13. score is 11-10. warren running out to get on the hill. stream goes down. total bullshit
 
Why so many issues with the stream from Steinway? I'm pretty sure I've bought PPV and watched free stream from there that was at least watchable if not darn good. Did CW change anything to try and make more money? Johnnyt
 
I warned people about wasting money on the PPV. Steinway is notorious for having bandwidth issues & it being on a different provider was not going to change things.
 
Steinway has a lot of great tournaments with top players. What can Steinway do to fix the problem...if anything? Johnnyt

For the record my stream was perfect. Just didn't want to stay up all night to watch a finals. There were only 12 or 16 players left to begin Sunday so I'm not sure what happened there.
 
my stream was fine until the finals. it would freeze every couple minutes. btw the commentary is some of the worst I've encountered. Majority of the guys were like 6th grade girls giggling & carrying on with Snooky Rojas. Brutal

I'm betting the players weren't happy either. Don't they have the straight pool today? Maybe the final players aren't playing the straight pool tournament but I'd want to be rested before playing...
 
Well did Steinway lock up their public WiFi to reserve the bandwidth for the stream?

From Mikey Fingers during last year's 14.1:
"I just came from doing the commentary of the 14.1 world championships and I can tell you first hand that one of the reasons that the stream is dropped sometimes is because of the bandwidth that the building has to deal with. today there were almost 2000 people logged in to watch along with many people inside the room that were trying to watch the match in person as well as on their phones and that caused the the rooms server to crash."

There could be many failure points.

Was it PPV last year? If not you can cut this years numbers by 60%.
