CSI - Ozzy

Banned
CueSports International (CSI) is changing the way it produces and releases it's Podcasts. Previously, they were live streamed on Thursday night and released on the CSI YouTube channel the next day. Because the vast majority of viewers come from YouTube after the live broadcast, we will no longer live stream them. We will record on Thursday and release it on YouTube by Friday. We will still attempt to maintain the schedule of releasing a Podcast every two weeks.

Tomorrow (Thursday, Sept. 4), we will be recording our first CSI Podcast since June 26. The topics will include:
  • Industry News
  • BCAPL National Championships
  • BCAPL Southwest Regional Championships
  • Upcoming 2015 US Bar Table Championships
  • US Open One Pocket News
  • Ongoing & Future CSI Plans
  • Thorough Explanation of the BCAPL & USAPL
  • Select Questions from AZBilliards.com

If there are any topics or questions you would like us to discuss, please post them here. Will select the best comments or questions for our last segment. Thank you.

American Rotation

Joe Tucker recently visited Maryland and Northern Virginia prior to heading south to promote the American Rotation Series. Karen Corr and I visited 4 rooms yesterday to help Joe get the series started in Maryland and I am confident we will have at least 2 on board for the next series that starts on September 22nd. Please talk about how the series is progressing in the rest of the country as it appears it has strong participation in the Northeast and possibly the south but not so much in the central and western states.

Thanks

Frank

Ralf Update

I've been waiting for an update from Ralf on his side of pulling out and leaving early. Did I miss a response from him? If not please let the viewers and fans know where things stand

U.s. Open one pocket championships

Hey Mark and Ozzy. Hoping to hear that the U.S. Open One Pocket Tournament will be separated from the U.S. Bar table Championships. At the 2014 Bar Table Championships, I overheard one of the best One Pocket players in this country talking with another pro about the difficulty of jumping back and forth between the bar table and the 9 footers. I believe that One Pocket's popularity has migrated quite a bit. I really believe this should tournament could happen just prior to the Bar tables. What about combining the U.S. Open One Pocket Championship with the U.S. Open 9-Ball Bank Championships, and have them as close as possible time wise with the Derby. Please give us your thoughts!

The KO Brothers!

Please make sure to remind everyone just how incredible these two players are. I believe one of you said on the American Billiard Radio show that it's a shame that some of the AZB crowd were more focused on other less important aspects of the tournament than the immense talent demonstrated by the Taiwanese players. Thanks for all you do. Until next time!

puh-leeze move the 1Pocket Open back to Vegas. February is too close to the DCC.

So has CSI fixed the magic rack? I have an original clear one and a CSI black one. I must say the thinner black one does give me more gaps.

Have the black ones been recalled or fixed?

When will it become mandatory for them to be used in Amateur pool leagues sponsered by BCA and CSI? And if so will they be provided?

Bump -

any more topics you want to discuss.

Joe Tucker - ABC League / American Rotation?

Let us know.

Mark Griffin

Mark,
Have you and Joe discussed possibly creating a pro league utilizing American Rotation?

solid question - cause if Dechaine is in the league, then he will always take the prize.

likewise, if ______ always wins for his state & goes to finals, then what incentive is there for Joe-Blow to invest in no ROI?

(have the rules/structure changed?)
