how does streaming direct to utube work

I have watched some pool streams live on utube and they have been very good. Ustream does not seem to be a very good service for pool streams lately. Do not know anything about computers and such , I just like to watch computer tv Mostly pool.. It is going to be hard to build a large viewership with so many people having problems. Everything drags or stops with a message from IE not responding due to a long script running.
I do not even know what a script is in computer talk but just cannot watch these great matches. I would pay for this if I could watch it smooth.

just downloaed chrome and it is working smooth

I just downloaded google chrome and it is working fine now. Big pain to switch from IE
should work with IE but it is not for me.
 
For those having problems with watching the stream, try these things:

Find out if your internet bandwidth is adequate by running speed tests (goto speedtest.net). Ideally you'll have at least 4Mbps down and 1Mbps up.

Check your computer to make sure it has the latest updates.

Do not use IE on the computer. Use alternate browsers like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.

Try watching on mobile devices like iPhone or iPad, which renders HTML5 instead of the power hungry Adobe Flash.

Try disabling virus scanner on the computer to see if that makes a difference. Sometimes virus scanners eat up computing power.
 
Yeah what is the deal, It was working today now there are no matches being shown as of 7pm est. I'd love to see more:thumbup:

is just horrible.............unwatchable. I never have had problems with free or PPV streams before today. Sooooooooooooo disappointed
 
So Many Complaints

I haven't been able to use the AZ Billiards link at all 4 the Turning Stone event.

Quite unusual 4 sure!

Same problem for me. Just constantly freezes up. Was looking forward to watching this too.

I enjoy your broadcasts (when they work) more than most, but just because you received only a "handful" of complaints doesn't mean that many more folks didn't give up on watching.

I called three of my friends and they all had the same problems that I did or worse.

As I commented elsewhere, I did get good reception briefly yesterday...until you rebooted twice...after which it took half an hour or more to regain reception each time...
