I don't recall ever seeing a FS bridge veneer cue.
I know Jake can do it. That can be of his cues. On top of that not a whole lot of cuemakers use those kind of sneakers. ..

I didnt really want to start a "who was first" kinda deal and especially not with Pete as i'm his biggest fan.
I was more reffering to it being the first time you see it in a wrappless configuration "sneaky style"
this blank does have the bridges cut in cnc. I did make a prototype in chicago entirely in the square about 2 years ago. Bridges went all the way through and had compound miters at base. All done manually and it was rough. Luke broke it in half at the splice

Jake, I see you change from white puma sneakers to yellow Nike ? Lolz.... Nice full-splice bridge point.... This blank is a lot more than what it seems.... I'm sure the finish products will blow some mind in here.
Oh my that was a lot of replies fast. There's actually a HUGE twist to all of these...it'll be fun...give me another 2-3 weeks
Jive, when the cue is done and heading to NY, I will have them ship it to me for a bit and afterward I will ship it back out to you.
Assuming the cue shown in the first post was built in the last five years or so then no, not a first. By sheer coincidence I'm planning to bring a wrapless, double-ended full splice to the event in Houston as well. BTW, it's a 5-point (5 points up and 5 down).

So its quite possible I'm un-aware as that's usually the case....but, to date theres 3 people I'm aware of that have done it. You, Pete and me. Who did it 5+ years ago?
That cue is sick!!
I remember the cues, and I have a strong idea who it was, but not 100% since the memory is the second thing to go. I'll dig through my photos when I get a chance. FYI, I believe the bridges were "panto'd" in rather than mitered.
