AZ Backed matches.

I will play Fargo against you on video for $500. IF I and others are satisfied as to your identity then we can do that.

Once we agree on who you are to our satisfaction then you have 24 hours to post your best Fargo score and I have 24 hours to beat it. If I beat it you have 24 hours to beat mine. The first one who can't beat the other's score loses.

No I am not submitting to a panel of judges to score me like figure skating on who has a better stroke or who can "cue" better (whatever that actually means). Just simply a contest of skills that can be done on video with distance.

I suck and there is about 10 hours of video online to prove it. Ought to be easy money for you since you should have me stone clocked by now.

What is to stop either of us playing that until we get a really great score?

I thought you were a diver? They are scored for their form aren't they? Then what's the difference?

No, a beauty contest it is. I understand if you don't want to go head to head with a super nobody like me, who never plays the game. If i had your stroke, i wouldn't, either.

Your wasting your time. Your not getting action from this thread unless its you staking someone.

As far as setting up matches, I would like to see some new blood. Anyone interested in either staking Justin Bergman or staking a fair opponent against him. He is local and I am certain I can get either of these set up any time.

I got alot of airmiles burning a hole in my pocket. Id like to put my homie Ray Linares into a travel match. Im not against getting into the box either if its really amateur vs amateur.

There is a reasonable possible match. Bergman versus Linares. If people are interested, we can negotiate a fair game. Maybe even two games.

Bergman is a seasoned pro with more years gambling four and five figure amounts than Ray has had hair on his nuts.

I like my buddy Ray but lets be realistic, this isnt even close and would require a big handicap. We should look to put two people together that play alot closer.

I got an amateur that id let one of you play.
His names Jason Brown, in Houston.

Let me know Dave. You can PM me info

I'd play anyone who has posted here $5 a game, 1-pocket.

Don't be scared. Let's do this.

Edit: Where's the smiley face?

We are getting off track here. This is suppose to be about AZ members. http://forums.azbilliards.com/member.php?u=36333
thats Ray. Im a well documented amateur with alot of miss in me and I actually post here regularly.

I gotta get back to work right now so im gonna step out of these thread. Maybe Jaden and Blackballed will want to stir it up. I was just volunteering that im capable of setting up the travel end which otherwise could be a problem.

Concerning the bolded, BIG difference between the two. Because the diver *will* hit the water no matter what, divers are instead scored for their form. Cueists are not -- they are only scored on whether the ball went into the pocket. Form sport vs. execution/results sport.

I was scratching my head why a total anon would want anything to do with this thread. Now I see.

Why? To make the easiest 500 dollars in history, that's why.

Aww sean, i was going to ask you to be a judge and all.

And i wouldnt put it past barton to miss anything - even the ground from freefall.

You can play until you get the best score you want to post. Then I have to beat it.

Pretty fair way to go about it. As you always troll with those whose form is terrible can't get there anyway. So with your perfect form you ought to clear up every rack.

I will go in with you on Bergman for up to 300.

JB said AZ sponsored. I don't think it has to be AZ members. This could be a way to make fun matches happen that might not otherwise.

For example Skyler versus Bartram. I do not think Skyler would post up to play Chris but we could make this happen. I for one would love to see this match.

I gotta pass on the Iba offer, sounds like punishment to me! Edit- I would go for drinks and cycling though.

I'd be willing to throw down with jaden...but he is in ca and I am in va:confused:.

If it becomes a popular enough prop...

If enough interest is provided, I might be convinced to use some of my airline miles to come out that way...or if you were going to go to DCC next year, we might be able to do something there.

I gotta say that of all the things that have been proposed on AZB offering a $500 bet on who has better form at the table to be judged by a panel is about the nuttiest.

Hard to bet against Bart but since Skylar is using our case I have to go with the younger gun!

You got me for $300 towards Skylar's match fund as well.

Distance is a factor. Why not video ourselves playing and send it to a panel of judges to determine who is the better player?

No appeals, no feedback, no crying, just a majority decision.

Right. I play against myself all the time. The judges can decide which one of us is better and award the cash to him. We promise no complaining whichever way it goes.
