Whats the best butt extension?

I once tried another players extension out. It was one of those well made aluminum ones that could extend, obviously. It held the butt of the cue well, protected it decent.
But when you extended it, you could still feel the flex at the joint where it joined. I felt like I was seriously pumping the cue just like a well handle.
I just couldn't get comfortable with it.
Myself, I feel that a custom made wood extension, either in the middle of the joint or a screw on at the butt is the best. Might cost you a bit more but in the long run, I believe that a person will feel much more comfy with it. It will be solid and with zero flex at the connection.
If you use one on the butt, it is easy to put on and after your shot, unscrew it and put it in your back pocket for your next shot.

I have used a cue with the Deroo built-in cue extension. It was utterly fantastic!
Added about .10-.25 oz to the total cue weight, did not feel like it moved the balance point rearward and was very solid either extended or retracted.
I really want Deroo to add this extension to my custom cue, but I only own one cue and would prefer to avoid the down time for shipping/work.

Well thanks 3 and Stop. Now I'm craving Italian food. We were going out to a Greek restaurant in a bit. Change of plans.
I forgot about a De Roo. He does sell them, but you have to but 12 at a time. I believe that there are a few cue makers that do stock them so making a Thread in the Maker Forum might help.
I have tried out 2 cues with a De Roo extension and they do work well.
You can have an existing cue fitted with a De Roo.
