Maybe pool is just more popular in Texas. I know of 6 different tournaments you can play within 20 miles of me in a 4 day span if you wanted to. Friday night, saturday day, saturday night, sunday day, sunday night, and monday night......

I noticed a thread about az members matching up and was wondering if you would like to play this old man some? I mean, I concede the talking game you have, but can you play any?

I live in Frederick Maryland and play at Champion Billiards. Stop by "backplaying" if you want to play some. My name is Frank Wojciechowski and I am 60 years old. You can find me there most days.

Hey, the guy in San Antonio is not my man, just a person I know of. I can figure that CJ knows who I am talking about. This guys father was a big gambler, his mother was a big gambler

TEXAS where we "say what we do, and do what we say"!

Speaking of Texas Tournaments, VIVIAN VIVAREAL https://www.facebook.com/vivian.villarreal.146 has one this coming weekend that should be fantastic, I just got the last spot (there may be more on the waiting list that may get in).......there will be ALL the Texas/OK high-rollers there.

Texas pool players, on average, probably have a chance to win more money than anywhere in the U.S.A. - there's players here that make over $100k gambling and I know several guys that routinely bet $500-1000 a game. Of course these are in private games and the general public will never know it's even happening.

There's been several weeks that I've won 5-6 tournaments in Dallas/Ft. Worth/Arlington and the competition is fierce with players like Coy Lee, Jeremy Jones, Joey Barnes, TJ Davis, Erman Bullard, Buddy Hall, and many, many more. For anyone interested in competing with us, here's a list of tournaments I'm currently attending regularly.

Tuesday - RUSTY's Tournament in Ft. Worth - First prize is usually $160 and they have a $500 A BALL Break contest

Wednesday - RUSTY's Tournamnet #2 - same prize money and 400+ a ball break contest

Thursday - Rusty's ARLINGTON Tournament - also with a $500 a ball break contest (Chase ran 8 balls last Thursday for $4000. and they still have it at $500 a ball).

Thursday - CK's Tournament in Dallas - $120 first place with a $300+ Break Contest

Friday - VOLCANO's 9 Ball Tournament - $130 First with $200 Break Contest

Friday - Diamond Jim's Tournament - $120 First with $200+ Break Contest

Saturday - VOLCANO's 8 Ball Tournament - $130 First plus $200 Break Contest

Sunday - VOLCANO's 8 Ball Tournament - $130 First plus $200 Break Contest

Monday - DALLAS PRIVATE GAMBLING ROOM WITH $100+ ACTION

As anyone can see it's like "Paradise" in Dallas and Ft. Worth Texas for Pool Players and I only named the tournaments I play in....there's a number of other ones as well.

"shuffle the deck" in the world of pool and pool players

I'm glad to be involved in pool again, the cycle is fixing to change. I can't wait to share what we've been working on the past 6 months....it's going to "shuffle the deck" in the world of pool and pool players.

If anyone in Texas wants to play me serious 9 or 10 ball the line is open in DFW. I believe Jeremy would say the same thing about One-Pocket if anyone wanted to play him as well.

if you dont get a game in texas ill still offer you the 10 ball ghost at the dcc on the 10ftr that you said was so easy to beat....as serious as you wanna get.......

it's actually easier on the 10' table, so I'll save you some money

I've never been to the DCC tournament....well, there was this one time that I came and gambled with a young guy named Shane......turned out uneventful.

The last time I played the "10 Ball Ghost" I gave up 7/5 on the money and beat it "10 Ahead" in 45 minutes.......it's actually easier on the 10' table, so I'll save you some money if you're actually serious.

I wouldn't know of course. But I believe CJ's game could be getting strong enough again for him to start entering some of the 2k entry events.

And CJ would be one of the VERY FEW that plays on his own cash. I can't believe a 16 man tournament where 80-85% of the players are getting staked.

by the time the smoke clears the players have spent an additional $32,000

I have issue with playing in tournaments where all the money is put up by the players (or stake-horses, doesn't really matter). The last one I looked at had $1000 added and $32,000 put up by the players.

Also, by the time the smoke clears the players have spent an additional $32,000 in expenses (hotel/flight/car/food).....I can think of better things to do. ;)

I seriously doubt if anyone could believe this scenario is a good investment. You won't see any other athlete at an event where 80% of the players lose time AND money.

'The Game is my Teacher'

I'm being dead serious here. If Shane wants a long set he should try a marathon session with CJ. It would be interesting to see the results.

Don't think CJ is ready for Shane at this time. Maybe if he enters some big pro events and gets a little more seasoning, he will be able to give Shane a good game.

C.J.'s focus is spread a little wider than Shane's right now, that is for sure. One thing I will say though is I don't see Shane outlasting him if they ever agreed on a game. C.J. has heart and stamina that is unreal and, no knock on Shane, but I don't think he can match it.

I hear there's a guy on here that will put up 10k for anyone in the world to play Shane in a race to 100.

I doubt CJ is excluded.

I actually like watching CJ play, but he doesn't get there in that match up. No offense to CJ

Shane plays and practices everyday. Thats all he does. C.J.'s a business man now but he still has game and unmatched heart and stamina by todays players imo. If they were to get the game right, a couple hundred a game, and play until someone quits a loser my money would be on C.J.
