I gotta admit I pull for the American players. But I love to see a player make it like he has.

Yeah -His road didnt have a rock in it. Straight to the top of the heap in like 3-4 disciplines 3-4 years after he arrived here with from what i understand a background in that small table, small ball English 8 Ball. Seems crazy-Though he did previously play some bar table 8 ball, at least in the BCA in Vegas beating Jason Kirkman in the finals in the highest amateur division probably 2 years before he started regularly hanging out in the USA. I believe i saw him the first day he launched his career here, showing up at Master's in Queens to gamble with Ignacio Chavez aka Jessie somethingorother and the 'The Mexiican' and ill advisedly giving him a ball.

Only Daz confirmed being paid and no Barry or Roberta in sight. I hope i'm wrong, but something smells here. Johnnyt

Roberta was on Az earlier. Dont think she posted anything, just lurking.

At the same time I do not blame Reberta for anything. She has known Barry for a very long time and have just recently (last 8 months) started working for him as a bookkeeper. Also most of the things she post on here, im sure Barry is looking over her shoulder and telling her what to write. What should she say "no" to the guy that pays her. Thats if she is one of the lucky ones. He is weeks behind on most of his employees pay as well! Atleast that is what a number of the employees their tells me.

e

Yes, I was there, his manager backer at the time. Daz gave up the 8 10 and lost 30 28 for 10k$. It was our first major gambling trip, 7 weeks in the Philippines, and then two weeks in the USA. He played many many matches in that time, a trip I will remember for the rest of my life.

Good days :-)
