Look at the OB shaft thread. Guy posts his broken shaft and OB responds. Perfect example of how to use the forum. Now I KNOW that Shane from OB has a lot of other opinions about the state of pool and tons of experience he could share. But he won't do it and Royce won't do it because they don't want to be attacked by "super nobodies" who have no reason to obey the rules in place about ad hominem attacks.

These are two examples of contributors who could add a lot more knowledge to the forum and yet they restrict their comments to just their products because of the climate here. I.e. relegated to being JUST customer service people. That's what you want, not what I want and not how it should be.

How it should be is that you allow all the PEOPLE who post here to be treated as people who deserve respect and not as targets to be torn down with every weapon you can invent.

Because "Ron Swanson" - inventing bullshit to attack with is exactly what you and other trolls do. You are not constrained by facts and not ever censored for the defamatory comments you make. If you were on some of the other forums myself and others have alluded to then you actually wouldn't be on them. Because your brand of "participation" is exactly what would not be allowed. And on those forums industry people and top makers are all present and willing to help anyone who needs it. I'd trade you for them in a heartbeat.

And yes, I'm out of the AF and have no clearances anymore. Just me (and Gail) getting that retirement check every month. Makes up for a lot :-)

I wouldn't be surprised at anything. I doubt you know anything at all but I wouldn't be surprised at any sort of back channel gossip on this site. In any event you are not revealing what you allegedly know so I will continue to say that it's above your pay grade and you know nothing. Assuming of course that there is something to know.

And your retirement check has nothing to do with the fact that you are a civilian now and your security clearance means nothing on AZB.

All that matters to me is that in terms of the TOPIC - your behavior towards pros and industry people is one of the primary examples of why more of them don't post here.

Others have written and said plenty about me and my business that they cannot prove in an attempt to harm my reputation and my business.

Lou Figueroa called Stan Shuffett a snake oil sales man and con artist (or something to that effect) with zero censure at all.

You just accused Shane Van Boening of breaking his contract with his sponsor. And even when several other people pointed out you were wrong you still didn't retract it.

Do you have the balls to make the same statement on Shane's facebook page?

I didn't think you would. Maybe because you don't have the balls to say it to Shane's face whenever he is there at Hard Times for tournaments.

So go ahead and provide your evidence if you have any.

As far as Earl using custom made shafts; I saw him play at the LA Open and notices he
had what appeared to be AAA grade white shafts. I was told later by Varney in Carolina and Jon, that Earl had custom shafts.
Those dwarf what you did to Jack Justis.

You could have easily VERIFIED your comment BEFORE you made it. You can't EASILY replace the trust lost by his sponsor when a supposedly knowledgable cue maker puts it out there that his star player is not using his equipment.

That's what you FAIL to grasp. As for your comments about Earl's shafts you are spreading rumors based on HEARSAY. I happened to be around the guy who worked on Earl's equipment, THE ONLY GUY Earl let touch it and that equipment was from the factory and modified to Earl's taper preference. I am also friends with Jones Chang, the owner of Cuetec, who had Earl and Allison as guests in the factory many times to discuss how to build cues that they liked.

Then comes you....a cue maker who throws out accusations with no proof other than someone whispering in your ear.

What did I DO to Jack Justis? Please tell me what that is? Jack and I got into a long standing fight where we DID a lot of stuff to each other. We are good now. Nothing I said about Jack's product was untrue although it may have been much too harsh at times. I not proud of all that but I was not dishonest and took credit for everything I said and did during our feud. Unlike you I can accept when I have been an asshole and say sorry for it which is what I did when Jack and I talked at the BCAPL event in August.

Let's see in the past couple weeks you have defamed me, you have lied about me, and you have called me names, all against the rules. You have not been chastised or banned for any of it....for one reason because I haven't reported you and for the other reason that no one is likely to be banned for breaking the rules while attacking me and you already know that.

What did I say about you Joey that is not true? Point it out and I will happy to address those statements.

Yeah, if a troll is relentless and draws me into an argument then I am the victim of harassment. And yes I can CHOOSE to ignore or respond without calling the troll an asshole and thus not risk getting banned.

Although the last time I was banned it was entirely unwarranted and Mike reversed it because it was not warranted.

Let's see if you and Lou and Thaiger can go one solid week without trolling me. Prove it to the community that you can leave me alone without making your personal slurs.

Now, imagine we had a climate here where trolls were censured immediately by vigilant mods. No one had to report anything because there were say ten mods where someone was likely to catch any sort of rules violation such as you calling me a ***** the other day. Imagine if you got a polite note that said that's not allowed. You would stop of face banishment. You would modify your behaviour to be a part of this community.

But, since we don't have that you know full well that you can call me names and defame with very little chance that anything will happen to you.

Hardly. Use dead people? You're the one constantly referring to your mentor to make points. Well what have you done with the mentoring? Make plain jane cues at the rate of about 3 a year as far as I can tell.

In the past month you knocked Mezz cues pretty hard, you knocked Shane pretty hard and of course you can't stop yourself from knocking me every chance you get, breaking the rules in the process.

I am not trying to scare you Joey. I just said in PM that when I get to LA I will buy you a drink and let you say all the vile things you have said to me in person. I don't think you will. Not because you are afraid of me but because people act far different in person than they do on here. However if you can sit there and argue with me in person as you do here, which is to avoid the hard questions and instead insult me personally with defaming comments then great. When I argue then it's from a position of facts. And when I get the facts wrong I ALWAYS admit it and learn and move on. At Large for example spends about 25% of his posts correcting stats I misremembered about matches and tournament results.

You know what a BULLY is Joey. It's a guy who can't discuss THIS topic without getting personal. Think about it. Did I mention you? No, I stated my thoughts on the climate on topic without mentioning a single person.
