Peter Vitalie cue?

Does anyone have information on vitalie cues? Are there many around, where they were made? And do they have any value? Also who made these cues? All I can find is info on tables. I recently saw one of these cues and it looked nice enough and seemed to play well having only hit a couple of shots. I'm interested in buying the cue and I would like to know all I can

I cant say this with 100% certainty, but I dont think they ever made cues. This question comes up every now and again, and if I had to guess I would say they had them made by someone else and had their name put on it, probably for the package deal of accessories that come with a new table, cues, rack and balls etc Another possibility is that its an import that had nothing to do with the table company but used the name.

I know the cue was purchased new in the early 90s and has a peter vitalie logo on the butt. Are these cues rare, or valuable? I've searched the web all over for photos or any kind of info on these cues does anyone know about them?

Rebranded junk cues that came with furniture pool tables. Worth $0 or close to it.

I have seen a couple Vitalie cues that were decent quality, similar to Viking or McDermott. Seen a few that were of lower quality too.

Definitely rebranded stuff though.....
 
The logo reminded me of falcon are you sure they aren't worth much surely someone knows the history of these cues
 
It could be a rebranded Falcon, that would fall into the quality I'm talking about..... If it had a Falcon logo instead of Vitalie it would be marketable, Vitalie, not so much.
 
I just assumed they were rare and of good quality I just learned from the man who sold it new that it cost over 500 new n that was in 92 he thought. I keep reading vitalie makes good quality table I'm surprised to hear a cue with that logo is junk

The market for pool items is not so hot.

Vitalie makes furniture tables, which are terrible to resell. Cues with said tables are not worth much. You get robbed when you buy them, typically by dealers who mark them up 40%.
 
The guy you talked to is either pulling your leg or got sold a bill of goods. Peter Vitalie tables, although very nice read: expensive) furniture style tables, don't play like Brunswick or Diamonds. There are no Vitalie cues listed in the Blue Book of Cues, which tells me they are neither rare nor valuable. No way one cost $500 new. Probably just something that the place he bought the cue from told him. Trust me, if they were worth anything, people here would know.

That was my first concern it not being in the blue book or on the web anywhere. The company sure doesn't seem proud of them because I can't find any site that says vitalie cues but the logo plainly says peter vitalie with an eagle between the two words. Did anyone get one of these when they purchased a table or does anyone have photos I'm very interested now
