Charlie and I went over to Bayshore Billiards last night to see what's up there. They are now under construction since the new ownership of the room. I found the High Run behind the counter and I wanted to capsulize it with a photo in case it doesn't get displayed in the room !!!

Just love 2 of the names that are on it, and one other that I couldn't crop out !!! Lol lol
Just wanted to share the moment with ya's !!!

George "Ginky" SanSouci and Danny Barouty

The 14 I ran didn't quite make the cut for the board either !! Lol :-)

This is really neat Stevie, Thanks for posting. I am not sure when that Bayshore room was establish but I might of played there one time in 1972 before I went into the Service. Than again there are a lot of things I can't remember now a days....LOL

Hopefully they keep the board, and I keep playing on their beautiful Diamond I can get my name up there with Ginky and Danny B. That would be awesome !!!

That is a board I wouldn't mind having my name on !!!

I vote the board should stay.
It is a little bit of history of the room.
put it on the wall and add to it.

unless they want to become a disco or something...

Had a good friend back then from Bayshore that use to play in that room and was a very good played name Mel Lika.

PS: the board is Great! all rooms should have that type of board,

There have been some nice runs lately, and the board is growing in numbers !!!

Have to tell them to put the list in order !!

It's nice for them to do something like that. Are those runs in a 14.1 league or just normal play?

it's both, league and Normal Play.

all the runs are for only runs that took place in their room. 4 of the names on the list are league players, 1 of which took place during a league match !!

its a nice piece of history for the room, i have been trying real hard to up the ante on my end to move my name up the ladder. i think maybe i put too much pressure on myself !!

I see a 53 so you are close with your 50. I'm only playing about half as much as I used to but I did have a 42 a couple weeks ago which is pretty good considering how I'm hitting them these days. I have it on video but is was such a poor example of 14.1 I didn't post it online.

Stick with it, you will make the board.

That's me on the board with a 76, The 50 video in my signature is old. But that is my highest I have recorded. Gotta start bring the camera with me again.

14.1 is on the rise at Bayshore Billiards with the upgraded board. We even have 3 vision taking up some interest as well !!!

Steve has done a lot to breath life into Straight Pool on L.I.

The board is great but there are 2 things that can be done to make it better.

1. Have the runs listed in sequential order (High to Low)
2. Have that guy Lou S. get past 57!

That match between Joe N and Lou S should go down in history and up on the board as the best match ever played at Bayshore Billiards !!!

Lol
