First Time Back At The Table In A Mounth

I took the cover off the bar box this afternoon for the first time since I hurt my shoulder 29 days ago. I can't and won't break the balls any harder than a Corey/Mills soft break. I found a 23 oz. one-piece in my bedroom closet, so I let that do the breaking for me. I have pretty slow cloth on it, so not much of a spread. It's like playing 9 ball on a 3X4' table. I wound up playing 17 racks of 6 ball and did manage a 5 pack near the end of the hour or a little more. I was very happy with the first results. I will see how the shoulder feels in the morning...no pain at this time. Johnnyt

PS: I got a crew cut for the first time in 52 years (Army) because I couldn't raise my right arm up enough to comb.

That sounds rough, Johnny, but I'm glad you're at least able to get some table time in.
Hope things get better soon so you can get back to playing regularly and pain-free!

Crew cut?
That's how you should always have your hair done.....
....'cause you're a trooper.

At your age you still have hair?

Glad you are able to get back at it Johnnyt!

Johnny...hope that stroking is good therapy for your shoulder...and that muscle between the ears! :)

I know it's good for my mind...good for the shoulder is still up to debate.

In the title of your thread it appears you merged "month and mouth".

There are some jokes, however, I'll refrain. ;)

Old People Rock
These Golden years suck.

Beat the 9 ball ghost with BIH three times today in races to 9. I seem too be back in 9 ball and 14.1. I don't think I'll ever be able to break hard enough for 10 ball or 8 ball ghosts. I'm very happy with my game right now. I would have bet a good amount a month ago that I'd never play again. I have a hunch that was my 9th life, so I better start acting 73 on the table instead of 18. Johnnyt

Might want to try a shoulder elastic band supporter, I play with a guy at times that wears one. His is left on pic type.
