Shanelle is in this thing. Nailed it. We can watch her ask for spots from C players.
This particular network averages 3+ million pairs of eyes for each of its shows, compared with TruTV 800K, SpikeTV 1.2M, Bravo, 1.6M, Animal Planet 1.8M, Discovery 2.25M, NatGEO 2.6M, most of which we have/had shows on. I have personally spent hours with these women, getting their back stories, so by the time of the series finale, you will know these women on a personal as well as a professional level. Their stories are just incredible and will be built into the show in various episodes.
Well I know you cant say the Network so I will say what I think it is. I'm assuming it's A&E (which would be good for pool considering the name of it is Arts and Entertainment) which had Duck Dynasty for years. If I am correct, I have no doubt that you have at least 1 successful season.
Not gonna lie, im always a skeptic, but you are selling it to me well. I really want to watch it.
Here is the deal -- i have no interest in tow truck drivers but I have watched more than one episode of South Beach Tow and Lizard Lick Towing.
If the content is interesting, and it seems that this Mark Axius has his pulse on what is watchable in reality TV today, then the show will be a success. To make it 'reality', they are using real pool players but beyond that, as he has described, the outlayers of the show which dive into the players personalities is what will make it a success. In the end, it will draw some people to pool. How many, who knows? I still don't own a tow truck no matter how many times I have seen Ron hookup a repo.
Let's just hope the women had smart agents.
I am not allowed to mention the network until they release the information, which won't be for a few months. There is still a LOT of work to do and production starts in mid March. I can tell you that this network is the largest cable network on air and has had the #1 reality show for the last several years. And before you pass judgement, this show has been designed for BOTH pool players and non-pool players. There will be content to appeal to both, but the idea is to reach a very broad audience, and this particular network spends a LOT of money in advertising on competing networks as well as broadcast networks. I can tell you that the girls are VERY excited to work with each other. You may see 2-3 pool shows on TV over the next 18 months, but none of them will be like this. And if you don't know these women personally, after the series, you will, and you will want to check in for season 2.

Jeanette is going to ride around in a bus full of people for 10 weeks? Ok.
The "Not endorsed by" thing is amazing.

tune in just for the eye candy and not care less whether it's billiards or backgammon.
Wait a second here...are you telling us there is about to be a show about backgammon? That would be awesome & strip backgammon would be even better!
