Justin Hall.......WAKE UP

With all this speculation on here about why he missed the match I didn't want to be left out. You guys left out one possibility, Maybe a woman was involved, maybe more than one!!:D

He just won the bank ring game.

I guess that makes up for it?

Well, it certainly helps. Ring Game = $6,000 1st prize. But, lost opportunities:

9-Ball = $16,000 1st prize last year

Master of the Table (he was in the running) = $20,000 last year

Cue sports should not be played at 10am. It's simply wrong. I would have 14.30 as the very earliest start time.

I may be wrong in making the assumption this is his day job, if not then my bad. But if it is, then yes, he is a loser who needs to take care of his responsibility. Pool is full of deadbeats and this story just confirms that.

Who the F@$& are you to call him a loser because he missed his match? He's one of the most respectful players in pro pool today, he never bit$&es or throws temper tantrums and act like most of the beloved pro player. He over slept period, he didn't call the tournament room and demand special treatment or anything.

He messed up and is fully aware of that, he's sick and disappointed in himself, but for you to call someone you have no clue about a loser for over sleeping his tournament match is absurd. Your just another rail banger who wants to act like they know something about pool. He's my best friend and yes you struck a nerve making stupid @ss remarks like that.
He didn't affect anyone but himself so go bite one.

Damn, potential 20k plus mosconi points. Unacceptable really.
unacceptable to who ? lol

If you don't have any financial stake , what's it to ya ? the kid missed a match and y'all get in here and attack his character ? gimme a break.

Justin owes no one anything, except maybe his stake horse and sponsors, and that's between them.

The only thing y'all gave to ***** about is that you didnt get to see him play.

somebody call whine-one-one, quick !

He staked himself so he didn't owe anybody that either.

Another poster called him a deadbeat. I've NEVER heard of ANYONE say that Justin owes them money. I've always heard that a deadbeat is someone who doesn't pay his debts, like a deadbeat dad who avoids paying child support.

Good on you for standing up for your best friend.

It's no wonder the pro players stay the hell away from this forum.

CJ Wiley must have several layers of alligator skin. :D

Like Joey, I like the way you stick up for your friends.

But when I woke up this morning ( yeah, I write Blues songs ).....
...my first thought was "Why couldn't somebody get him up...or at least
pay his buy-back and then go get him?"

I'm sick for the kid...he has an excellent rep

 Yes indeed, JoeyA. There was another thread about why don't more pros frequent the forum. Well, duh ... I can't imagine why! Also, the comment about CJ. Kudos to him for putting up with the attacks and BS. I've always felt that the venom that is spewed at him is unbelievable. If you hate him so much ... don't open anything with his name on it!!! Hey, haters gotta hate. OK, I'm done, carry on.

Someone was supposedly sent to get him up but I'll leave that story alone. He's a grown man and understands that he made a big mistake but to say he's a loser for missing his match is ridiculous.

Some of the people on here are crazy! To call a guy like Justin a loser or to say that what he did was "unacceptable" is really unjustifiable. I've seen him in Miami a couple times, he's a nice respectful young man just trying to do his thing and for people to talk this kind of shit about him says a lot more about them than it does about him. There is a saying, "success has 1000 fathers, but failure is an orphan". But not here on AZ billiards though... failure has 1000 fathers to and they're all abusive as hell!!

Superhaters BEWARE!!!

I would recommend alligator skin coated with a titanium finish, dipped in kryptonite. ;)
