New Southwest.......Finally

Southwest BEAUTY

Tommy,

A cue DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT :)

Laurie Franklin ALWAYS DELIVERS,

Your cue came out SUPERB

enjoy

Excellent! Practically all the options and choices I would have gone with had it been my order. Many thanks for sharing.

Beautiful cue. Thanks for posting the pictures.

This week I have been shredding old documents and financial records. In the pile of papers, I ran across a letter from Laurie Franklin dated November, 1992. At that time they were projecting 30 months to deliver a new cue. Those were the good old days.

Nice veneer combo and overall look. Standard shaft taper or standard pro?

Thanks everyone for your appreciation of this fine cueing instrument. Yes, It has the pro taper shafts and slim butt. And I'm just saying but I think it might hit as well as any cue I've owned. The vibrations and harmonics just feel good.

One thing I couldn't figure out. I paid extra to have mixed tops on the Joint protectors and I was under the impression that one shaft would have the cactus and the other the SWC but I was told that's not how they do it. I know that's how I asked for it to be done, otherwise........why bother.

Tommy fine choice on the pro taper, anyone building a cue for playability with SW should elect to have the pro taper, makes a world of difference for sure ❗️Congrats one hell of a player ❗

Tommy, I think they do the Cactus for the shafts and the SWC for the cue. I ordered mine with all cactus.

Just

I just saw this cue all I can say is WOW ! You have to be thrilled with this cue ! Very very nice.

Looking forward to seeing this in person some time, Tom! Very sharp cue on all points.

Great looking South West. The wood/veneer combo is
great. I love that chocolate birdseye, changes my whole
outlook on wrapless cues. Congrats

Looks like I'll get mine in 2 more years. I think it was April
of 2005 when I got on the list.

beuatiful cue you have there! I'm debating on different ideas as I've got an order for sept. 2004!

cactus on the jp

I have seen the cactus logo on the jp for the butt. It was with an ivory cap and black cactus logo. So it has been done before.

So I got to see this in person.

The pictures suck, absolutely suck, compared to reality.

The birdseye is just the perfect color, and the cocobolo is fantastic. A real looker, for sure.

Yes it can be done. I owned that cue - it was a 1 of 1 and that won't happen again. That cue was part of the Glen collection
