Taiwan TOI

Well, why do you think he cues better?

Because he's the better player?

He could replicate everything you do, you could replicate everything he does, and he still beats you by the extact same scoreline.

Pros are just better players. It would not be difficult to change your entire approach to mirror efren's, for example, but you're still going to be beat by him. You might marginally improve in some areas, but that's about it.

There seems to now be too many twisted words, phrases, & quotes in this thread.

Pretty soon someone will be speaking Taiwanese.

What does "cleanly" mean?

"Ron":
The same as the last time you asked.

It's of no concern to those that don't understand it.
Just a tip, "Ron": using a word that you don't understand yourself makes you look dumber, not smarter. Of course, it's up to you how you want to appear...

P.S. Last time it was "purely", but who's counting?

I have no idea of Ron's playing ability nor anyone elses for that matter but he uses words, terms, & phrases that are more common to older players & players that play more by 'feel' & tend to describe things in abstract terms.

Some play their whole life & never really 'feel' the ball with their stroke. While others feel it on nearly every shot & know when they don't feel it.

I think it has much to do with 'timing'.

At least that is how I see it.

You, for one.

I have a tip for you. The only proessional arm of cue sports understands entirely what the terms 'cleanly' or 'purely' means, whilst amateur science type hacks, who shuffle into position and get their jollies scraping past the like of Barton, get laughed at. A lot.

Of course, it is up to you what you do.

Another tip: drop the "ron" shit. Yes, you're a hero for having your face pressed against a screen for two whole years, salivating wildly. Bravo.

Well then it's simple, isn't it "Ron"? Run ask one of those professional cueists what it means, then run back here and tell us - then you'll know too.

There's a good lad.

Yes pros are better players (duh). They have more knowledge, more experience, a greater repertoire of shots, they hit the balls more precisely, and with greater consistency. They also play considerably more against a wider variety and higher level of competition.

It was a $10,000 "jolly" and no one was laughing other than you, "Ron."

When a golf shot is hit 'cleanly' & 'purely' it's when the ball is hit with & on the 'sweet spot' perfectly 'balanced' center of gravity of the golf club & the shaft is 'perfectly' aligned to accommodate that strike & everything is 'in tune' with that & the 'timing' is 'perfect'.

When that happens there is no 'bad' 'feeling' transmitted up the shaft to the individual that just swung the club.

There is no better 'feeling' in golf than not 'feeling' anything 'bad'.

Some amateur golfers understand this & some don't as they have never felt it or did not recognize it.

In my experience this is not true and there is much to be learned from observing different techniques such as how/where pros grip the cue and what kind of bridges they use. In fact, last year John Brumback gave me a tip on using particular bridge for a certain shot and told me he knew I was going to miss a shot during our match because I was using the wrong bridge.

But does he beat you because he does that, or does he beat you because he strikes the CB more cleanly than you?

He can give you a thouand tips and won't beat him until you can cue like him.

"RON SWANSON"

, TOI won another $1380.00 last night

Yes, this is TOI...it's not just stun, many if not most of the shots are follow or center ball, not so much draw, unless they are needing to draw it. You can see them favor just a hair to the inside of the CB on most of their shots. The dead cue ball tells the tale. They both cue it with outside, but only when they absolutely need it to get position; otherwise, it's the good old floating CB...powerful stuff.

It is powerful stuff, TOI won another $1380.00 last night for it's player last night.

Lol. That one wasn't about you. Other players have beaten barton, apparently, not that we'll ever see Patrick "hissy fit" Johnson have the minerals to do so on camera.

No one can laugh at how you settle into the shot when you are a legend in your own lunchtime.

It appears some amateur pool players have even less of a clue than amateur golfers. Still, they can tell you all about why they missed - and that's the important bit, right?

Careful, "Ron." you're starting to give away, a little too blatantly, who you are with those kinds of comments ;-)

Lol.

Why don't you go ask them directly? Www.thesnookerforum.com.

Off you pop-ski then.

Actually, i was surprised you didn't go straight there after your banning - imagine how many century breakers you could educate there! You could tell them what they've been doing wrong all these years, I'm sure they would appreciate it.

Would you say that 'most' mis because they don't have a 'feel' for that 'clean' 'pure' stroke through the ball?

Or was it because their elbow didn't stay still?
