Here is the "BIG" problem "???why???"
Why place the item for sale on 'SUPERIOR" ???
It could be placed on AZB
it could be placed on Ebay
it could be placed on craigslist
THEN "WHY" ?????????
Easy answer why!!!
Superiors
#1 Name!
#2 Reputation!
#3 Representation of warranty and return policy!
Martin of superior "KNOWS" this and so does the "SELLER DON" he used both the superior name and reputation to make a sale.
I am certain he does not "CARE" about the harm to Martin and his business at superior cues???
bottom line is you do not "VOUCH" for someone if you are not willing to "BEAR" the consequences and you do not post items for sale on your "BUSINESS" website that you "Do not fully stand behind them"
Now, please explain how the answer to "WHY" is not the game changer, it clearly is in this scenario???

Terrrrrrrible analogy, it is a for sale forum. People know there are risks associated with forums not legit businesses. I am unbiased and do not know either party in this case. I will not buy from Martin as a result of this thread.
It is a good analogy actually but the fact that pooky is a repeat customer Martin should be bending over backwards to remedy the situation. I sell a lot online and repeat customers are paramount to having any success with sales online.
Why isn't the person who is responsible for misrepresenting the cue being held accountable? All of this focus on Martin seems misplaced in my opinion. This is Don Roland's deal not Martin's. From my perspective Martin seemed to try and help someone out with a listing on his site and he's getting the worst of it while the actual guy responsible is hardly mentioned.

Because the MAN "Vouched"
You slap BCM on a pool cue made by your assistant and it is a "Total Disaster" you do not get to say "Take it up with my assistant???"
You sell something under the superior name and represent it with all the security and warranty associated with superior cues and its owner "Martin". You can not turn around and say "I am not responsible".
You can not give me 1 reason to justify selling items you do not own under your good name and banner for someone else like Martin did in this situation??? Just name 1, please!

Because no one knows who Don is, O that's rite Martin does. But
he's already said he's done with this. I no i'll never buy a cue from
him or trade with him. Martin knows what the rite thing to do is, and that's
buy the cue from pookster hell he's a repeat customer.
That's the reason you don't put someone's stuff for sale at your Site/Store business, without it being yours. If it's not someone you completely trust, or a product you can look over and verify, why do it? It's your name and business online. Do you want a bad rep when something goes wrong? If not, then don't try and sale something that's not yours.
Would you sale my car on your car lot if I just drove it up there and told you it was a Bentley, but you never looked it completely over, all you saw was the outside of a Bently, then the buyer got it home after buying it with your word online and it had a Volkswagon engine in it, would you not feel like you Screwed someone? Even if you didn't make a penny. You think your lot would not get a lot of bad publicity and lose customers?
