Tony "T-Rex" Chohan is home!

Five years may not seem like a lot to some people, but Tony gave up about half of his adult life because of one bad decision. All the good he ever did is out the window and what's left is a man who will battle a criminal reputation for many years. Tony has a wife and now a child who has not had a father for most of his life.

Hopefully with his family's support, Tony will put the pieces back together. Only time will tell.

Congrats to Tony..

Tate, could you resize your pic in post 25 and make it smaller..it's screwing everything up

Bad choice's can lead to bad results.

"HE" made the bad choice. "He" paid his time for a "criminal offense". Lets just wish Tony well and hope he can have a fulfilling life going forward.

Trying to condem someone who has paid their time is a crock of sh1t. A disgrace to the game Pidge? You have a deranged sense of fairness . He's not a rapist or murder he just simply got caught doing something he shouldn't have. Not a career criminal or even bad guy. He should be welcomed back with celebration not criticism . I don't think anyone here has not done some things to land their ass in jail if caught. I know I have
Welcome back Tony.... Damn glad to see you back

I thought the Pidge was just saying yes, Tony made a bad choice, got caught, got punished, did his time...and it is over.

Nothing more to see here, except the rest of his life.

Let's get it on!

I wonder if T-Rex will get back into the game?

Best wishes, whatever you choose to do, Tony. Welcome back.

Pretty sure he could find some consultancy work in Colorado, especially if he was growing and not just dealing ;)

I am pretty sure everyone who is currently doing time for cannabis / weed related crimes are kicking themselves, it's going to be legal everywhere in the states in a few years...

Welcome back Tony........

Edit: looked the name up, it is related to the three strikes policy in missouri. It just so happened that all three are pot related

Probably most certainly will. Entertaining for the pool fans but I don't know if that would be a good thing for him. I wonder how much of what he did was to earn stakes for gambling?

According to WHIO, at the time of Tony Chohan's arrest, they say there was also a pound of cocaine and some ecstasy confiscated from him.

http://www.whio.com/news/news/250000_drug_bust_in_warren_cou/nHXs/

So if this is true, then it was more serious than just a pot selling crime.

I don't know much about Tony but it's obvious he has a lot of fans.

Hopefully he'll surround himself with people who can provide positive influence, along with his family, and will do well.

best,
brian kc

I agree. Bottom line is he's out. It's totally up to him how he uses his new found freedom. If he's got a kid/kid's he'll need a real job. This game can provide him extra $ but in no way pay family-type bills. I wish him well and hope to see him play again.

Never said he wasn't good enough. Not enough action/tournament $ to do so. If he was knockin' down decent money playin' why did he do the drug deal? Boredom? I think not.

t rex

maybe he will make his return to pool action at the upcoming super billiards expo. obviously not in the pro tourney but on the $5, $10, $20 action tables. he has made the trip before and played in some bigger money matches. anyway good luck to him hopefully he turns his life around now that he is out.

Anyone know if he was playing pool while locked up? Im guessing he was housed in a minimum security type facility since his offense was non-violent and some of those places have pool tables (don't ask me how I know). Who knows, maybe he is stronger player now and he has a perfect strategy to take down the one pocket world, you know, the ole "I haven't played pool in over five years.." gimmick.

Anyhoo, congrats Tony on your new found freedom and I hope you can continue to represent CA and show the rest of the country where the best pool players are from.

He comes from a pretty wealthy family. Probably was making about 70k playing pool. Have a wife that's pregnant will make you do stupid things to come up with quick cash I guess I knew him from my area and he didn't sell drugs ect. If I remember right he was set up from another pool player saving his own ass.
